Woozle
There is only a 12 % growth forecast for summer 19
100 planes v 90 now
What happens year after is anyone’s guess.
15 x earnings would give us 15 pounds by results in November.
I cannot see us getting that rating but me being cautious whatever next!!

I think you are too conservative. This is a £22.5 share within the next three years, which will come from a proper rating and earnings growth. At least 150 EPS and 15x's times. They aren't creating 3,000 jobs across Europe to make incremental growth. TCG will suffer and Tui are withdrawing. I've said many times that the respective cost bases of both these companies are too high.

Yes they had fuel forward for 18 to 20 months.
Currency hedging also in place.
As explained by Gary FD as soon as flights are offered they try to cover the largest part of exposure.
They really are across most areas.
They were bullish about growth potential. My guess is TCG will suffer.
I think we could take 45/50% of the UK market.
No mention of New bases I think they will grow where they are established.

Ok ladies and Gents
After the early start ( he is not for changing the time ) arrived and had a chat with some of the directors.
To add to this morning statement load factor is slightly up hence the above capacity 25% increase.
Holiday division should sell about 3 million this year possibly slightly more as the flight / holiday split is moving back to holidays.
Question was asked where is growth going to come from.
It was said that Dart has about 25% of market share for package holidays.
So 12 million are sold in the U.K. each year. It was felt by the board there was plenty to go for. So we are taking market share from the other big 2 TUI and TCG
Why do people choose jet 2?
Our offering is different and the check in facility at the hotel is to be rolled out to more. Currently 10%
We should be flying 100 aircraft next year up from current 90 so expect at least 12% growth in 2019.
I asked about the aircraft and in particular the 757 fleet.
They will go another 5 years before the company decide to replace.
I got the feeling that another order for aircraft will come in the next 2 years.
They may replace 757 with 737 max or switch to Airbus for bigger frames.
The board are very confident.
I met a couple of fund managers looking at taking a stake.
I believe the jump to 1050 is just the start and feel we will be close to 100 p eps this year.
This should rise to 110/120 following year. As such I am reviewing my 2020 target to 12.00 with further upgrades possible.
The company has a big cash pile and this will grow further.
Questions please.

AGM statement very bullish with 25% capacity this summer being slightly exceeded. Therefore load rates up again.
I expect a further uplift this morning.
Now en route to glean more facts

shaker thank you.

I read the IC last week and as was commented not a mention about the UK`s fastest growing Airline and Holiday company.
Much is down to the BOD who have never felt the need to promote the company.

That's always been a tester for us holders but we do know that eventually we will get there.
This weeks latest expansion drive ( 3000 ) jobs and yet more frames means JET2 are far from fully exploiting the uk market.

I rudely asked PM what his exit strategy was a few years ago. He bought lunch but made it clear this is his life.

Will update tomorrow.

As you know, I've never stopped buying. Not sure there's a better growth story available at such a cheap price. The part of the story that I'd not fully appreciated until recently was eating away at RYA and that just being at Stanstead gives customers choices on price and service that previously were not there.

Woozle

They are NEVER mentioned. Not even after Monarch went bust.

The fastest growing travel company in the UK.
Last year the holiday division grew from 1.78 m to 2.5m that 40% and still nothing.

Nobody can see it or understand it but boy does it deliver.

When I forecast 10.00 everyone thought Tiger has gone mad. I said by 2020.
Well we got there in 2018.

I think the first half numbers will be mind blowing as prices have returned to normal.
I hope to glean more information to combine with my sources after Thursday.

However as a measure of faith I BOUGHT more shares last week in the 970 bracket

Apologies for the pun but there's still plenty of runway for this share as the article about jobs shows. There was also an article in the IC this week about UK travel sector and every company mentioned except Dart, including a long piece on issues with Tui and TCG. Very odd given that that it is Jet2's low cost base that is contributing to the problems at these two companies.

The former Terminal 2 at Alicante Airport was built in 2007 and is adjacent to the former Terminal 1. Both terminals were closed on the 24 March 2011 when the airports new terminal was completed.

There are plans to reopen the original Terminal 1 with a connection from the current terminal.

Terminal 2 is used by general aviation and will also soon be partially converted into an overseas HQ for Jet2.

Not sure about loadsamoney being shelled out but I'm under the impression that it's just office space for Jet2's new Spanish HQ at Alicante Airport rather than a dedicated terminal operation.

More than 350 jobs are to be created by Jet2.com at Leeds Bradford Airport as part of its further expansion of services across the region and the UK.

Leeds-headquartered Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced a recruitment drive, with over 3,000 jobs up for grabs across the UK and Europe in a variety of positions to support the company’s growth – and over 350 of these will be based at Leeds Bradford Airport.

The announcement comes as the airline and tour operator continues its growth strategy, on the back of a bumper Summer 2018. After its biggest ever programme of flights and holidays this summer, the company will increase capacity at Leeds Bradford Airport by another 6% in Summer 2019, with over 1.8m seats on sale.

The new programme will see Jet2.com and Jet2holidays launch three brand new destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport – Bourgas in Bulgaria, Izmir in Turkey and Chania in Crete.

The company is looking to recruit individuals to fill over 150 cabin crew and 200 ground operations positions at Leeds Bradford Airport, in addition to vacancies in flight deck roles. The flight deck roles are targeted at experienced pilots. The ground operations team will be responsible for ensuring that flights depart safely and on time.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “This is our biggest ever recruitment drive at Leeds Bradford Airport, and once again demonstrates our commitment to investing in our customers and in people’s careers. The success of our award-winning business is down to the hard work of our fantastic colleagues, and we are looking forward to meeting passionate people to join our expanding team.”
David Laws, CEO at Leeds Bradford Airport: “This year marks the fifteenth anniversary for Jet2.com at Leeds Bradford Airport. In this time, they have gone from strength to strength and its continued success is down to its huge choice of routes and the amazing customer service of the team.”

The positions for Summer 2019 will be advertised from September 2018.

Growth across the company forecast to be 20% next year.
I will update after Thursdays AGM

So advanced sales for 2018 are up 31.6% at £1455.7.

Advanced sales historically form 42-49% of the following year's leisure turnover.

Which at 48% equals £3 billion leisure T/O for 2019!
