Post by our expert tong last week having a pop st those that bought the dip.
Well at 920 that’s 75p extra in the bank buddy.
5% of the dip back I expect more to come ahead of record numbers in November.

Thanks CT, Sounds good, reduction in winter losses would really smooth the numbers out. Going to be an interesting few months as the news comes out. Wonder how long before another airplane order is on the cards ..maybe after some visablility on brexit

Winter bookings are strong and capacity is 20/30% up for summer 19.

13 full aircraft left Leeds again this morning.

Jet2's latest new B737-800 G-JZBP, currently on it's delivery flight to the UK, I assume that it is heading for LBA.

this is part of the additional order

GCELH is currently being retired as we speak before being flown to QLA on Monday.

GCELX is due to perform its last flight on the 4th Nov and will start the retirement process on the 5th.

GCELV will retire shortly after this on the 7th/8th November

GCELO will retire around the 22nd November.

EDI is confirmed all B738 base by mid December and NCL will be also all B738 by end of April. This will only leave EMA, BFS and LBA with the 300’s for summer 2019.

As always in aviation nothing is 100% confirmed until it actually happens however this is the plan at the minute.

All the planes were delivered from the first order with the extra planes from memory 4 more to come by January.
We have also added more second hand 737/800 as we retire the 300`s.

I think much was in the last accounts but the rest in the first half to end of September accounts.

The deal they did was exceptional and you need a plane to fly people. Buying is cheaper than a lease as it can be parked up without a monthly fee.

Fleet looks like 100 for next summer.

Castle-in-the-air congratulated himself about how clever he was in buying "the 890 dip" a few days back. Not very clever now innit...DTG will face the FULL force of gravity with the bull market soon to be history. Value folks : keep buying the dips and enjoy the trip south....
