08/12/2007 11:36 | ADVFN states that there are 372 million shares in issue which is wrong!!! The shares in issue figure is 259 million and the correct mkt cap at close was 9.46 million. Can find the figure of 259 million shares in issue from the Interims: | chancer6
08/12/2007 10:56 | Zedder...in this instance we cannot compare the valuation as you're describing because the ADR's are due be de-listed next wk. Once the ADR's are gone by end of next wk the price should see a proper correction or the start before even the ADR's are gone IMO. | chancer6

08/12/2007 01:38 | I used to be a DNK fan, but sold out at 22.6p in Nov 2005. At that time I could see the company going nowhere with respect to sorting out it's debt. 1 DANKY ADR in the USA equals 4 DANKY shares. So at 16.5c mid-price at the close today, 16.5c/4/2.03 with 2.03 being the $ exchange rate, then 1 DNK share is equal to 2.03p. It generally used to be that the US price led the UK price; indeed you could make good money when the price was moving rapidly in the US and the UK Market did not keep up. At the moment though the UK price is over-priced. It may be that once trading stops in ADRs then the price will be aligned to the UK price. At the moment though, you are over-paying buying UK shares above 2.25p! | ![]() zedder
07/12/2007 21:19 | One more bottom sign....naturally more selling again on the ADR's with them due to be de-listed by end of next wk though the price held up and finished up 6.0%. Don't know why there was strong late buying on the ADR's. The fall from 10 pence on the LSE listing has only been because of the selling wave on the ADR's over the last couple of wks. The company has not come out with any bad news to warrant the fall and hence can easily go back up to that level. The volume on the ADRs has been around 500-1000 trades every day. Fair few DANKA shareholders there...wouldn't be surprise to see them to take start buying on the LSE listing in the coming days. They only having to sell because of the de-listing on the NASDAQ market. | chancer6
07/12/2007 20:54 | Cheers, they are there. I hope we have seen the bottom now, I struggled to keep up with the slide. Anyway, if MDX isn't on your rader keep an eye on them, more to come IMO. | flannyblue
