evening all...........

well many stocks down stateside tonight........

How well did danky perform????

well......782k buys v 337k sells....wow!!!!!

dont call this drop any sort of panic sell off.....

shows that this was held down for accumulation purposes imo.............

there were many trades of 25k or 50k blocks that were were buys that would get executed on many small price drops.......

UK should open down probably around a penny on the offer in the am....but nothing to scare......seemed the market makers pretty much anticipated the drop during the afternoon anyhow.......


2.23 = 30p at 1.85. the bid was 30p anyhow, so the offer may come down to 31 or 32p.......


cant wait till tomorrow now..........

Great find dfwtracker, We have known for quite a while that Danka was Undervalued. Now with reports like these, maybe the Masses will find out. My comparison with COPY.OB shows how Overvalued some other companys can get. If Danka were valued like COPY.OB its shares would trade for approx. $2500.00 per share.
If Danka shares simply trade at Enterprise Value, the stock would be approx $5.00 per share.
Then again, it looks as if Danka may finally have a handle on the last few details of their turn around. In this case, a $73Million cost savings would generate $1.00 EPS and command a potential 10 bagger gain from here!!! In my opinion, of course. Makein a short story, shadow and others may have an opposite opinion.
Anyway that UNDERVALUED DANKY story earns a repeat. Good Luck LONGS.BRS

UK should open in the 31p region imo in the morning based on 1.85........

UK buyers tomorrow should keep the momentum going.......sooooo oversold........

When you consider the lack of contributions on this board it is obvious that we can write off any major resurgence in price of Danka. The private buyers have been frightened off in recent years.Wish i had done so on the rise last year..There must be a possibility that the sharetrading in London will be cancelled in due course creating even more difficulty for the few remaining British shareholders to 'GET OUT'. I wonder if there are any competitors in the U.S. who would take it over?

nwmadden.....just looking for buyers to return........things dont fall in a straight line.........

there seems to be herd mentality at the mo, plenty of bashers there US side not even looking for an entry point..........just plain bashing.......

obviously they have personal issues.........

anyhow made plenty of money on these last time the share price was this low and looking to do the same again............that's what it's all about after all eh????

willjam....the current $2 equates to around 27p UK (at 1.87).........

ON THE 22ND Jan I said 24p in my interest level

We are nearly there now (see 11932) but now after the results this might even be too high
They seem to have sorted out their logistics in Europe but have lost most of their customer base in the meantime

seems a few buyers are helping the share price now........

just one left on 32p...............

I'm gonna wait and see what happens stateside and jump back in when the tide turns..............

it may be later this afternoon....tomorrow....or wednesday..or maybe in a few weeks time.......but it'll turn imo.......

well this is roughly where I expected this to open is you look back at my posts friday................

just no idea what the skeptics will do today...............hopefully the last of the sellers will go today.....a btm reached and then the longs will arrive.........knowing our luck this will be after the UK close though.........

Lowtrade, having the weekend to consider the impact the US would have on this today (after the US markets had a real good day in general) I decided to close my position regardless............as many of my other stocks are as blue as you could want for monday 8am.....

I'll wait till the dust setles and jump in again...........

it would seem the mms wern't awake this am and I only lost 1p on the bid from Friday's close.............

consider myself extremely lucky............

It will open around 30p. The only thing supporting even that low a price is the prospect of a takeover. Look carefully at the statement, nearly in profit excluding the servicing of preference share debt. Real value is only around 20p (maybe even less).

looks like a red start monday after herd mentality takes over US side.........

better than expected loss is the real result..........as usual...buy on rumour sell on fact..........

and it looks like the friday feeling hit the us retail..........

let the dust settle monday am..........look for bargin UK side in the pm.......

the dow rally ... and what a rally....plus the dollar strengthening should ease the blow first thing............

UK was down 4.2% all afternoon despite US trading at 2.7....
US down 13% at end of play so I'd expect around a further 10% drop UK side...........but then there's dollar and dow movements (both helpfull to UK stocks) to soften the blow a little..........

have a top weekend all..........

the usual management speak for lousy results,disposing of staff,closing entire countries sales offices,few plus signs,and no great prospects for investors,staff or suppliers.Dilemma is now whether to take the losses on the chin or prepare to wait another 18 months for an outside chance that ordinary shareholders will share in any benefit from the 'reengineering'
