08/3/2004 12:42 | MJELE1 The $7 is based on 2 things: 1. The inability of many US institutional investors to purchase shares under $5 will create additional demand. Hence my belief that the initial upward movement could be sudden. 2. My forward projections for financial performance over the next 18 months give me a minimum fundamental value of $7. The $9 is based on just one item: 1. Danka start to over-deliver on my minimum fundamental valuation (I have a maximum fundamental valuation of around $10). I have a lot of faith in the current management and their strategy. They have reduced debt; brought in new systems; restructured to better meet the needs of the customer; concentrated on high growth / high margin areas and introduced improved incentive schemes. i.e. all the building blocks are in place and they have now started to deliver. | ![]() lowtrawler
08/3/2004 11:50 | Lowtrawler What are your $7 and $9 projections based on ? Matt | mjele1
08/3/2004 10:15 | johnymac The price is driven from the US and $5 is the major obstacle for serious investors over there. If it stays above $5 convincingly then it will launch into orbit. I believe $7 could be as little as 1 month away (assuming the >$5 holds) and $9 plus is a real possibility this year. I'm sure that many UK institutions are watching what happens in the US before buying here. | ![]() lowtrawler
08/3/2004 09:53 | Lets hope dnk can take off from the $5 support today. Im amazed that there is not a high level of trading in the UK, one day soon, people are going to become aware of the potential and this share will rocket. | johnymac
08/3/2004 09:04 | barrongreenback what did the mail newspaper say? | ![]() lowtrawler
07/3/2004 22:07 | Maxbubble Do you work in the City, did i read a few years back worked as a High Flying Corporate Financier. Have you met with Danka Management recently. I enjoy your postings, very imformative. Regards | jonny wilkinson
06/3/2004 22:36 | something about danka in the mail newspapper today......lol | barrongreenback
05/3/2004 16:19 | consolidating nicely around the $5.10 level. Hopefully it can close here or slightly higher | mjele1
05/3/2004 15:50 | now over $5.10 | mjele1
05/3/2004 15:32 | its through............. | mjele1
05/3/2004 15:17 | It's knocking on that $5 door again: | ![]() zedder
05/3/2004 14:42 | I agree Lowtrawler. I've just grabbed 3091. | ![]() zedder
05/3/2004 14:31 | Todays reorganisation news should be enough to generate interest and take it convincingly through $5.00. I wouldn't be surprised to see it close around $5.50 in the US today. I would top-up, but I'm already massively overweight on the donkey. | ![]() lowtrawler
05/3/2004 13:54 | Johny, hope so. Looks like the mm's haven't properly factored in the 3% rise across the pond yesterday. By my reckoning the mid should be circa 68p based on last nights close @ $4.95. Currently trading at 64 bid 66 offer, although you can get inside this. Could be an opportunity to top up, especially if it opens up in NY. | mjele1
05/3/2004 09:44 | Could this be the day that DNK breaks through the $5 barrier in the US... Lets hope so, its looking good for a break with large buys last night. | johnymac
03/3/2004 15:02 | mjele It will break through $5.00 convincingly at some point this month. I don't think anyone can predict when. Once it does, it should rapidly rise to $7.00 as many US institutions cannot buy while the shares are under $5.00. | ![]() lowtrawler
02/3/2004 11:59 | With the stock flirting with $5 yesterday, any views on what the opening level will be across the pond this am ?? Also what resistance levels are in play over $5 ? Looks like $5 has been attempted three times over the last two years, with this being the 4th. RSI doesn't look too overbought at the moment and MACD, money flow look strong. | mjele1
24/2/2004 15:07 | I've only just learnt how to use the charts at the top of the page!!! Looks like someone wants to put in a big buy if someone is willing to sell at $4.60. Yesterdays experience suggests that the price moves to fill such orders and so I suspect we will see $4.60 at some stage today. | ![]() lowtrawler
24/2/2004 09:24 | Looks like someone has picked up 535k this morning. Anyone want to own up? | ![]() lowtrawler
23/2/2004 16:48 | But it is changing fast. Now $4.86/$4.91. A good bit of volume today as well to keep things moving along. | ![]() zedder
23/2/2004 16:44 | Not sure where you are getting your price info from? Current bid $4.84, and offer $4.86 | ![]() zedder
23/2/2004 16:43 | Well, it's touched $5.00 twice but resolutely refuses to go through it. Settling into a $4.95 - $5.00 trading range. Could be gathering strength before pushing through. | ![]() lowtrawler
23/2/2004 15:09 | on the move again $5 looking within reach | mjele1
23/2/2004 14:55 | Thanks Cinoib. I really think this could break-out and rapidly head towards $7.00. I notice there are plenty of optimists on the US board who think $14.00 is imminent with $30.00 eventually. Let's see who's right? | ![]() lowtrawler |
