Xerox Corp. Rated New `Buy' at First Honolulu Securities

Looking at inside buying over the recent past, nothing for few weeks, but still impressive. Ok start over there, up 5 cents so around 67p

7-10 cents per share may be correct but 28-40 cents for the year would also imply no net income growth. The strength of insider buying, new products/services, gross income margin improvement and decreasing expenses suggest otherwise. Management knows this.

The $1.33 of earnings is nice but yes it comes from a one time non recurring sale. It will also come off the books after this next quarter. This alone will not determine the p/e for this stock. The many other factors is what is driving this stock up. DANKY is setting up for a turnaround story and is returning to profitability. Net income from continuing operations will determine its fair market value. In the office equipment sector, its p/e stands at 28 according to yahoo. If forwards earnings in the future forecasts that they can earn a $1.00 per share for the year well your looking at a stock price in the 20-30 area. Remember they have $27.12 revenue/sales per share! They just need to return a small percentage of this as net income to us shareholders and bang were in the money. This stock reminds me of my last big winner, ALLY.

Buy, buy, and buy some more.

No one knows for sure, even Danka wouldn't say when their last quarterly results would be released until the actual day (they like to release results on a day the market is rising), the annual results were released earlier in 2000, on 5/5/00 and as there are likely to be less audit problems this year, I would expect a release in early May.

We are all after value here, we just don't know quite at what price that value should be obtained, but the chart indicates it will be cheaper soon.

You will have noted the level of volatility is such that you can make substantial short-term gains in a week (eg sell Friday 1/2/02 bid 47.5 buy Friday 8/2/02 ask 34, Gain = 40%, etc). Note that AB is accurate in the short-term only, the longer term trend depends on the company ie its ability to report good profits.

i have just checked it says there may be acorrection in the shortterm but not by how much and you MAY sell the stock now and wait for the next buy signal, but IT ALSO SAYS LONG TERM TREND IS STRONG AND BULLISH,PLEASE STATE THE FULL FACTS ZULU, THANK YOU

zula - would think looking at a stock like this over such a short period ( few days ) is flawed, unless you want to jump out for just a few days and for minor gains, then jump back in again. Danger there is you may miss the next rise

Neural chart network Americanbulls.com; have been following it for a long time and found it to be accurate for short-term (day-to-day) movements, just note down their future recommendations and you will see, or watch the share price. P.S. I have held Danka on and off since 1995 and am currently long.

What about the short-term chart outlook for DANKY? American Bulls tells us SELL as of today after the stock closed lower, close to its low (sign of weakness) with a lower high and a higher low (sign of decrease in volatility) and the volume was extremely low. Previous BUY recommendation was made on 3/18/2002 (9) days ago, when the stock price was 3.160. Since then the stock gained 21.84%. So it should get a bit cheaper in the near future.
