23/3/2002 16:39 | a few thoughts about dnk; they are repaying 15m of notes soon where is the money coming from, earnings for quart end dec 01 were 7m are they more than double this quart, wow shudder to think what may happen to the share price if that was the case, anyhow debt is surely being reduced further, losses reported last time were from discontinued operations which is non recurring and out of the balance sheet, another positive. now what about this increase in vol 5 wks befor results, who is doing all this buying , we do know that there has been a lot of insider buying, also dnk has 12000 employees and could it be that they are in the know and may be buying which has been suggested on some us board. imho feel we shall be testing $5 in the run upto results, price may retrace on some days but long term(12mths) this one looks a 3 -4 bagger if not more. what with the american econ forecast to grow at 3% next year and 1.4% in the secon half of this yr by the imf. feel confident that this is a great recovery play, dyor etc | ![]() psychicdoc | |
23/3/2002 14:50 | a posting from yahoo bb i took the liberty to cut on 22/3(gentleman aged 55) by way this is jag i had to change my nickname as i upgraded on advfn Steve, right out of the blue, you have expressed my feeling exactly. I have been studying and investing in the market all my life and I have reached the same conclusion. I realize investing all funds in just one or two stocks increases your risk. But what do you do when you believe you have found a a major opportunity like Danka. It was on the verge of default, but they changed the team and have a real turnaround in progress. Personally, I have analyzed this company using everything I have learned by studying the Lanier Worldwide acquisition by Ricoh and other acquisition approaches. I think it is worth $30 ADR excluding the debt to be repaid. Why not take the risk if you really believe the stock is that undervalued? I do. 22/3/2002 09:38 | Good mornning All, I am very pleased with Danky performance at present level. It shows stability and support. I am almost certain that northwards trend will be maintained very soon. Good luck to all the holders and join us if you can be a holder. My target is $5.50 and I belive it is achiveable less than 6 months, providing that the next set of results exeeds the market expectations. All evidance shows that, directors have confidance to get there. Have a lovely Eeaster. A.E | ![]() 357aman |
