17/1/2002 19:35 | filster, There is only one reason to buy that is if you believe this stock will worth £1 a share but now you can still pay it under 30p. We are waiting for British newspaper to cover the story about Danka, which will go up 100% in less than a month although they gave "avoid" rating about six months ago. I will stay away and recommend avoid when the share price comes back to £8 a share like in 1997. So, please be careful to set your target. | oaklandsway
17/1/2002 19:03 | now $1.74 on almost half million shares | ejplynch
17/1/2002 18:22 | currently $1.68 on nas on 357,000 traded. | ejplynch
17/1/2002 17:20 | Must agree with Cinoib has posted. I don't hold DNK btw, but am sorely tempted. Can anyone give me a brief description of Danka's main business and what makes it stand out from the rest? Plus any other reasons to buy. mtia P | ![]() filster
17/1/2002 16:23 | Holti. A proffit isn't a proffit untill you take it and I'd take what you are sitting on, you can always buy back on a dip, which always comes. | ![]() cinoib
17/1/2002 16:06 | IMO, today is to build a firmer support between $1.50-$1.65; My target is that Danky will try to break a new 52 weeks high next week, of course depends on volume of trading once again. Whoever sold the shares today might not be able to buy back without extra spending, if Danky won't drop suddenly this evening. IMO, DYOR, etc. | oaklandsway
17/1/2002 15:22 | Still up on Nas and good volume in 1st hour DANKY Nasdaq-SCM $ 1.59 0.02 1.27% 97,400 | serious punter
17/1/2002 14:51 | Up on the Nas again | serious punter
17/1/2002 10:57 | IMO, $2 is sill on target as the company had reported positive net assett value, positive cash flow and growth. I believe next report will tell firmer profit margin and revenue. I could be wrong so do your own research. | oaklandsway
17/1/2002 10:33 | holti Depdends if you need/want the money or can afford to lose it.. If you stay in and it falls, you'll kick yourself. If you get out and it rises, you'll kick yourself. There's nothing wrong with taking a bit of profit, although I would say that you seem to have quite a nice buffer built up at the moment - also depends if you can monitor the share price enough to make sure that you don't lose all of the profit which is there at the moment... I suppose it also depends on how much faith you have in the company and the management.. P | ![]() filster
17/1/2002 10:07 | holti you have done well but ithink i would let this one ride with a stop loss of 21p | ![]() chestnuts
17/1/2002 10:02 | Looks like a cup and handle formation on the chart.... For those interested an explanation can be found at www.chartpattern.com IMHO.... | ![]() forfaiter
17/1/2002 09:49 | As a newcomer to share trading could someone advise me whether it is always worth taking some profit whilst it is there. I bought £1000.00 of Danky @.1175, is it wise to sell half and let the winnings ride or once you have made a judgement is it best to stick with it? Yours naively | holti
16/1/2002 23:44 | The share rose in early trade on block buying in the US. The upper bollinger band and the 1OD MA are in a nice up trend channel and the stock is being traded between these two points which is quite common. The stock hit the upper bollinger band and retraced to find support at the 37% fibonacci level.Traders would have used the upper bollinger band as a target price for exiting their position. The pru have been selling all year and had astrong sell on the stock at the beginning of the year. The recent insider buying will be based on a clearer and more up to date picture. Good luck and let the trend be your friend.... IMHO | ![]() forfaiter
16/1/2002 23:15 | Danka finished $1.60 in after hours trade. | ejplynch
16/1/2002 21:01 | The PRU knocked the price? or just another profit taking? not sure really. | oaklandsway
16/1/2002 19:12 | be patient to set $2 as your target, what make us happy is that we have found new support at 25p so we should see danky to stay above $1.50. Next support will be $1.68 then $1.90 before climbing to $2+. Once again, be patient. | oaklandsway
16/1/2002 19:03 | oaklandsway i understand your concern but its still up 12.93% in states surly if there was concern it would have dropped by now, unless they have'nt heard | ![]() bigpat
