Sp,
Looks like we'r on our own here. Agree it will come good again, but not just now, which is why I only have 8k of these left. Am doing very well trading the previously mentioned, at pres; Recomend you take 3/4 out and look elsewhere untill we see some sign of the revival.

I agree the septics are swinging the price around. DANKY went up 18c on low volume, back down 21c on low volume. I too am surprised no drop, but when the Nas opens today we could see another erratic swing north. As far as canlestick charts go, we had white one over here and a black one across the pond. In DNK's case, I think candlestick charting is totally irrelevant to DNK, but is applicable to DANKY, because as you know the septics are the drivers.

I still believe DNK will come good, their PR dept could do with a kick up the jacksy

Morning Sp,
Candles have a nasty habbit of melting, like 21c last night, very surprised not to see a 2p drop this morn,. Spt,Img and Fib paying much, much higher divies at the moment, will not be buying anymore Dnk untill I see some solid volume and better movement.

Good close across the pond last night, up 18cents, but volume low. IMHO we will start a run up to results - nothing dramatic but profitable (trading).

IMHO we have reached the bottom and started a slow climb back. The candles show the trend reversal and DNK is still oversold

Daily volume on DANKY (ie in the US) is currently very low. Presumably the institutions are now fully invested and holding.

It is worth watching volume and price on the day near the end of each month (often the last Friday) when employee share scheme transactions take place. On that particular day volume is 4 to 6 times higher - for example on 30/6/03 volume was 478 on 1/7/03 it was 72.

Monday will see the release of Xerox Q2 figures - they should have some effect.

SP....tough call like you I got in again at 55p...some may be expecting a complete trend reversal......but is there a need with DNK to retest those lows again?....I am hoping for a higher low and all that.....setting the chart to the one side so much has happened to Danka in the last 12 months which has been positive that I am hoping for a an uptick in price. Not expecting much from results which are soon in t trade territory but steady progress for 1 year and then upwards from then.

The formular for converting DANKY to DNK using your example is $3.60 (360cents)/4/1.6192 = 55.58p The MMs might open on Monday if this close occurs 54-57/58

Kicking a bit across the pond, hope you are right as I might dip in on Monday.
Will wait to see finish in NY and opening price over here, but can you advise what a $3.60 close equates to in £'s for this baby

Morning Cinoib

I thought it looked promising across the pond last night, but it fizzled out. Based on past performance and my trusty charts, IMHO DNK/DANKY is now poised for a north bound direction. It is still well oversold with an RSI 21 in the 20's. It's worth keeping an eye on our donkey, when it kicks, it kick hard :0)

Morning S.P.
3 clocks and at the right time, must get tuned in to teletext and reset them all. I don't think I'm that confident in the donky to lay any more cash on it., but one I am possertive on at press, is nsb for a short term bet, say t20. If your looking long term then check this one out. Bprg.
As for dnk I'm down to me last 8k and as soon as it passes the p line it will be toodle oo for now, only untill the good times return.

Cinoib

P.s.
I think the lack of post of late shows that the sparkl;e as gone for now.

If the septics push it up at the open with at least 100k traded in the 1st hour, then IMHO, this will cue DANKY/DNK for a northbound direction. With an RSI 21 of 26, DNK is very oversold.

Hi S.P.
See we're dragging our feet again $3.58/55.3p presently only 53.5mm's still in bed or what, mind you, you could say that about the entire U.K. market now 900 point behind on the Nas, and 5000 on the dow. Teckmark was 300 point in front at one point, I seem to remember and the ftse only 500 behind. Makes you wonder why we still invest in the J.K. when there is such potencial in the states.

Danka @ the Desktop Solution Delivers Savings to The ServiceMaster Company
Efficient Document Production Reduces Costs Up to 20 Percent

ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA, (July 22, 2003) - Danka Business Systems PLC (NASDAQ:DANKY) today announced that its Professional Services organization has implemented a Danka @ the DesktopT solution at the corporate headquarters of The ServiceMaster Company in Downers Grove, Ill. The solution has transformed ServiceMaster's print environment into a digital powerhouse, complete with software integration and networking services, document scanning software, and 11 digital multifunctional systems, which replace analog copiers and more than 100 desktop printers.

"Before our Danka @ the Desktop solution, we were struggling with an inefficient and costly way of printing, managing and storing our documents," said Tom Balk, director of administration for the ServiceMaster Company. "Now, we can scan, edit and e-mail documents, and save scanned and other electronic documents in a new document repository, improving employee productivity and reducing document production costs by up to 20 percent."

Danka's Professional Services organization supplied the technical expertise that solved the integration challenges of implementing a new document management and production system into ServiceMaster's network. To maximize employee productivity, systems engineers configured the system to support use of employees' e-mail address books, and provided much-needed management for access and storage within the document repository. They also installed software that collects automatic meter readings and monitors equipment performance.

In addition, Danka's Professional Services organization conducted training sessions for employees, which enabled a smooth conversion to the digital document production system.

"From the involvement of our expert Professional Services organization, to more cost-effective and efficient hardware and software, this Danka @ the Desktop solution established a streamlined digital environment that achieves operational excellence," said Todd Mavis, president and chief operating officer of Danka's U.S. group. "Their customized solution illustrates our value proposition of providing our customers with office imaging services and technologies that increase productivity and reduce costs."

Productivity and cost savings is also realized through the Danka @ the Desktop scanning solutions. Users can scan documents into industry-standard Multi-TIFF or PDF formats, and then e-mail and distribute these documents accordingly. Documents also can be stored into a local repository where they can be saved, organized and shared with others. In addition, users can edit scanned documents, which provides added flexibility.

"This solution streamlines the production of documents because it was designed specifically to meet our users' needs. We think of Danka as a partner, not an equipment supplier," said Balk. "We explain how our environment works, and we rely upon the Danka team to configure and install a solution that reduces production expenses and enables our employees to be more productive."

Would agree due a bounce.
RSI suggests oversold and volumes during drop have not been large.

Would not take too much buying to move this one...IMHO

Been busy elsewhere. As bdawes says, this will present a buying opportunity today IMHO. DNK/DANKY for some reason bounces up and down erratically. Vastly oversold as well
