22/5/2003 14:04 | It is the results in US$ (according to US GAAP which differ from those used in the UK) that drive the price of this stock. | miata
22/5/2003 13:52 | Results look good, sharp move but then a nervy calm.... | majic
22/5/2003 13:51 | I'm on the sidelines still - I'll wait to see what the sceptics make of these figures. | serious punter
22/5/2003 13:48 | one seller comes in and finally they open up the NMS to 10k .... b'stards | shareman2
22/5/2003 13:38 | Margins improved but sales down - hmm | serious punter
22/5/2003 13:35 | Nice to see increase in gross margin (37.4% vs 35.4% in prior year); expect a rise today. Profit for quarter $10.7m versus Loss $2.9m in the comparable quarter a year ago. Profit for year $44.9m versus $9.3m a year earlier. -$.13 EP ADS versus -$.43 EP ADS in prior year. | miata
22/5/2003 13:19 | Zedder, Lend me 450m mate and we'll give it a lash! | majic
22/5/2003 13:02 | Has anyone done the sums yet? Imagine you had 450m to invest. Spend this money on buying the company for 100p a share and pay off the debt. Without any debt, the profit would be something like 90m per year. Thats a 20% return! Interested? You should be! | zedder

22/5/2003 10:39 | Anyone know what time the results are out? | jayno
21/5/2003 08:53 | I love danky but when the price has drifted down and not revived within a general mood of rally, and there is such "latent" support amongst private investors looking for a positive sign, I can't help feeling wary that someone starts the day with a relatively large buy and nothing much follows it except our own small punts. I've been sucked in and fleeced too many times to take risks just on the first signs of momentum in anything these days. I'm out at the moment and I realise I might be missing one of danky's famous buying opportunities, but is there any convincing case for a turn-up? jayno | jayno

Should gap up about 3p in the UK tomorrow. More importantly, it may give investors in the US sufficient confidence to pile in tomorrow ahead of the results on Thursday. | zedder
20/5/2003 11:48 | better to put money in kewill | latifs100
20/5/2003 00:34 | Trading at a discount to Friday's US close today. $3.37 = approx 52p. I've just had my 4th batch since 1st May (at 50.75p). I just hope that the results on Thursday live up to my expectations. | zedder
19/5/2003 17:56 | I agree DNK can shoot up or down very fast - cost me a few bob last year. Currently $3.20/23 vol 113.8k realtime The current exchange rate of £= $1.6369 (ref below) means DNK equiv 48.8p/49.26p | serious punter
19/5/2003 17:48 | Hi SP, To me, the volume in the US says it all. I don't think there has been over 400k for nearly 2 months now. The price is just drifting down and the Institutions seem content to let this happen. They obviously take the view that they can soak up a few cheap shares as the Retail holders get twitched and sell up. Generally, this share moves fastest when volume is 2M+. I would be very worried were this drop to have happened on such high volume, whereas I having been taking the view that this has been a buying opportunity. A couple of 2M+ volume days could see this back over $4 very quickly. Naturally I am unhappy that the price has been dropping after each of my recent buys. However, I have seen occasions where this stock has risen 50c plus in an afternoon when the UK market is shut and we cannot react to get the benefit. I still think there may be some sort of surprise with the results on Thursday. Naturally I'm hoping it is a surprise and not a shock! | zedder
19/5/2003 16:39 | Hi zedder I'm still not in YET. Currently as I post L2 realtime $3.19/20 Vol 82k. | serious punter
17/5/2003 20:29 | Not into this and never have been but had a very quick look at the 3rd quarter results. Using the basic eps figure of 0.7p as a guide. Times it by 4 gives you 2.8p - put it on a multiple of 10 to 15 times earnings and you get a price of 28-40p. So whoever said the price is looking likely to fall back into the 30's, looks spot on. | robbie12
17/5/2003 17:26 | Chart looks really, really bad already. I was looking to get back in but there are many stocks performing much better so it will take 30's to tempt me now! | pippin
16/5/2003 16:44 | The 52p is a key level for dnk if it holds, then we will not see 30's imho | panagos
16/5/2003 16:37 | That'll teach me to keep up with the RNSs - doh! Next Thursday it is then. Could be a manic day of trading (one direction or the other!) in advance of Memorial Weekend. | zedder
16/5/2003 16:30 | I've just topped up yet again. Sold out of cw. earlier at 97.75p Just bought these at slightly under 54p. Results are now later than last year. Appears to be no indication of when they will be yet. Could be another 2 weeks since next weekend is a long weekend (Memorial Weekend) in the US and I can't see them being announced at about that time. So either early next week, or not until about 2 weeks time IMHO. I intend to average down more if the opportunity keeps presenting itself. | zedder
16/5/2003 15:23 | Its the most volatile share i've seen, it doesnt follow logic, see posts since the surge from 10p to 80p back to 30p then to 80p and now back to probably 30's... | panagos
16/5/2003 15:23 | BTW where is Oaks? | panagos |
