Latest DANKY short interest to 15th July. Surprising after all the supposition as to what forced the price down recently. I'd been expecting the short interest to have altered significantly one way or the other.

BB,
the buys for the employee scheme this month would go today or tomorrow. lets hope IKN can get through $9-$10 before Danka's earnings. Hoping Danka to get $3+ again but don't ask me the time frame pls.

Happy day for PRO holders who bought at around 5p, don't forget to take a bit profit.

Chestnuts:

Respectfully, I need to correct a few things regarding Ronson:

'new lighters and are flooding the market'. Ronson have won major monopoly contract with Tesco, WH Smith, Esso forecourts, etc. They are taking market share off the likes of Swedish Match (which had a turnover in the sector of £242m last year).

'moving into europe which is 5x uk and USA which is the same size as europe and then their is the eastern block which is about 5x uk and china where they make the lighters 15x uk '

They have opened an office in Poland last year which traded in profit within the same Half as it was opened. They opened another in Germany in April (x1.5 UK market). They are NOT in the USA and cannot be (Ronson corporation USA handles that and is not linked to Ronson UK). They are modernising distribution thoughout the rest of Europe and ROW. Thier lighters are made in China and there is no selling )to my knowledge) planned there. Buying their lighters in China/Vietnam is benifitial because they pay for them in $. With the current exchange rate, the Gross Profit Margin of 39% that you quote will rise to an estimated 42/3% solely because of the exchange rate this year.

Roll-ups are scheduled to be release 'properly' next year (Q1).

Chestnuts, your hand has been slapped ;-)

I do, however agree (being the current Ronson thread owner) that Ronson is a great growth stock. Interim results will be remarkable in the current market conditions and should boost the share price to around 2p if people take the turnaround for what it is.

I am expecting 4p three weeks after the Full Year results next April.

I am also expecting 45p in 5 years based on 150m turnover.

I have no idea how to work out EPS, so someone is going to have to let me know how to do that and I'll give you the Ronson BB's guestimate.

We are a happy bunch on the board, very democratic and we have consensus views that are agreed with my the majority of board members.

Oh, today is a good day to get in also as we are in the third of my predicted 'dips' before the run up to the interims.

You may think 'I would say that' but this post is posted hand on heart.

Good luck

Regards

Andy

PS. To members of this board (and the owner oaklandsway, I appologies for posting this on your board).

excellent results from IKN

Third Quarter Earnings Up 12%

Net income for the third quarter of Fiscal 2002 was $43.1 million, or $.28 per diluted share

These results exceeded the Company's expectations for the quarter and represent a 12% increase over $.25 per diluted share in the prior year

FF in year 2000 they had a turn over of 7m, 2001 turnover 8.5m estimates for this year 20m / 44m with a 39% profit
Ronson management have turned the company around they brought in new lighters and are flooding the market six months ago you could not find a ronson lighter any where but now they are everywhere and are growing all the time in 5 years time they could reach 240m turnover they are moving into europe which is 5x uk and USA which is the same size as europe and then their is the eastern block which is about 5x uk and china where they make the lighters 15x uk .They are also fetching out roll ups which will add another 10m turnover
You get the picture , results out end of Aug
Check the thread out
ff please you are not as aggressive as you have been people listen when you say things calmly and not agressively
