As a trader we need to consider pricing range on IKN which is only unfortunately valued at less than P/E of 7 from actual earning of almost $1. This makes difficult for traders to buy at current price.

However, as investors P/E 7 is very low because the sector has traditinal P/E of over 20 in normal market condition. So, please be patient.

Current sentiment is very bad caused by financial institutions and banking performance. This will hold money to enter the market.

Cash is KING at the moment & patient will get reward.

IMO, DYOR, etc.

Agreed, a triangle like this is bearish.

One thing you have to understand about Ronson is that it is a very small company, with very little volume in its shares when compared to the number of shares in issue. 1Bn shares (half of them closley held and shareholders have had pledges at the AGM that these are being held).

We are all waiting for the interim results to come out which we expect to be fantastic.

The main reason for this is that cost have been cut in 2001 to a minimum and the company broke even for the first time in 5 years in H1 last year (£51k profit on £4.215m turnover). They then went on to increase turnover by 13% (65% UK) in the second half of the year (£339k profit off £4.768m turnover).

The thing we are excited about are the contract that they won in Q4 last year (Tesco) and the first half of this year (WH Smith, Esso forecourts, Sommerfield, etc). These contracts are to be the sole surplier of lighters in these stores. I've worked out that the Tesco contract will be worth $4m a year.

I'll stop now and if you want to discuss if further, I'll be on the Ronson thread.

when i spoke to s.sood of dnk a couple of weeks ago he said if there was anything the market should have been informed about they would have and that short term market speculation they were not able to comment on, i am assuming no skeletons in the closet and a clean set of results atleast upto expectations of bg's estimates.
