30/10/2009 15:23 | hopefully looking good ahead of results, hoping to see test recent highs of £4.20+ | qs9
30/10/2009 10:37 | Just topped up today again, 11 days to results, no reason it cannot hit previous highs in run up IMO | qs9
12/10/2009 13:18 | Great....saw site visit went very well and online side apparently looking very good, so as you, bought in last month...looks like it has found some good supporters. | qs9

16/5/2009 16:09 | At 16.22hrs yesterday sales were allegedly some 95,000 BUT by 16.32hrs the total had swelled to 450,000 !?????????????? | wendsworth
08/5/2009 17:35 | DCG has gone on really well of late.Any reason for today's 'pullback'? | wendsworth
07/4/2009 16:07 | Thanks Aleman, sorry for O/T | crawford
07/4/2009 16:06 | I have large holdings in WCC and CHNS and a small one in HAIK. WCC and CHNS are clearly cheap on 2009 P/Es of about 2 and 3 and growth of 20%+ from there but I think HAIK may possibly be cheapest. Unfortunately, it will continue to be held back by near zero visibility and susceptibility to input and output prices outside its control. It is hard to say due to fluctuation of its large stocks' value but it is probably trading at about 1/3rd NAV net of intangibles. | aleman
07/4/2009 15:49 | Aleman, I've been watching WCC closely, what other Chinese stocks do you like? I have a large holding in RCG and TAIH. | crawford
07/4/2009 14:11 | Thanks. I also sold my NFDS to top up in Chinese stocks and have benefitted nicely. I may be looking to buy some of them back as well as they look a pretty solid foodie and yield 9% but that will be later as I still expect outperformance from my Chinese stuff as UK investors wake up to the fact that the rest of the world is recovering while the UK, US and Europe are now lagging thanks to all the debt and government interference. The global balance has changed as our leaders have blown it. | aleman
07/4/2009 12:44 | Aleman : I'm pleased you've taken a good profit too. You DESERVE it for all your past thoughtful postings which encouraged me to buy back in. Still think DCG is one of the best investments in the food sector and will be monitoring for a 'pull-back'. I also dipped my toe back in the water for TATE last week but didn't like the Trading Update and sold out yesterday when they also reached 300p! Talk about a coincidence? | wendsworth
06/4/2009 16:00 | I've sold mine in the latest rally. Been trying to find cash to top up my Chinese shares which have been rallying hard. I dare say I will be back looking for yield with more firepower some time in the future. | aleman
06/4/2009 15:37 | Aleman : Have taken my profit today. As this is a REALLY genuine BB ..thought you ought to know. Set MY LIMIT AT 300P. Have learnt the 'hard way' not to be too greedy. These have had a great run and will continue to monitor. Just have a feeling that DCG will slip back to the 260 to 270 range. Will see. Will post again if and when I buy back in. | wendsworth
02/4/2009 11:48 | Market fell quick by historical norms due to shorters so I suppose it is only right it should go up quickly as well. :-) | aleman
02/4/2009 11:34 | Nearly bought some of these yesterday and have them on my watchlist. Slight concerns over how far they have recovered in a short space of time. How wrong was I? Will buy on any setback. Thankfully bought Tate & Lyle yesterday which was the other part of this play. Good luck to everyone who bought at the trough and making stonking profits or are long term investors recovering losses. | gary1966
30/3/2009 17:52 | Very satisfactory day of consolidation with low volume particularly considering FTSE was down some 3.5%. The asset sale was a smart move and the market has reacted well to it. Holders will be rewarded with more positive news from the company as it 'drip feeds' news prior to results. Once the dividend level has been confirmed ...then terrific upside potential... bearing in mind where DCG was trading in 2007! Plus good sector to be in with general market volatility. Other holders' views? | wendsworth
27/3/2009 23:10 | Aleman : Long may it continue with rises like today. From my limited expereience the quietest BBs have been related to the better investment stocks and not subject to regular ramping/de-ramping etc.. Expecting a series of broker upgrades which will lift DCG back up to the 300p level . | wendsworth
27/3/2009 18:16 | I posted a Wow earlier today but it disappeared. Wow! Remarkably quiet here considering. | aleman
27/3/2009 08:07 | Aleman; Looks positive to me and the shares have moved up 6-7%. Analysts briefing scheduled for 08.30hrs could 'put some meat on the bones'. | wendsworth
26/3/2009 12:21 | Aleman :Slight pull back this a.m. If the dividend is sustained at anywhere near current yields then there will be an avalanche of broker upgrades for DCG. Tomorrow's update will be key for where the share price goes over the next couple of months. Whatever I'm in for the divi...likey ex 26/06. | wendsworth |
