06/4/2016 15:05 | Interesting how those who sold are suddenly deramping with the aim of buying in cheaper.Dream on about your .2p entry mate! | goodbloke1
06/4/2016 15:05 | With over 10% of the company [LSE trades only] being traded today there will of course have been sellers as well as buyers [obviously a lot more buyers hence the share price increase] but who really cares as however you look at todays news it is not only MAJOR but a GAME CHANGER for CYAN! | cpap man
06/4/2016 14:54 | I am being more cautious. I sold my lot today and took the profits. The reasons I sold are that is some mighty rise today and lots of buyers and sellers are operating today but the hype will lessen shortly. (albeit that teh company has done very well to get this order), Iran is desperate to catch up after all those years of sanctions and the money has been made available and spent/committed to quickly. Other countries can afford to do more pilots with a wider range of companies and then spend - therefore longer wait times for decisions and reducing the chance that Cyan are the preferred bidder. Another substantial order could of course cement and increase the share price. If its low margin revenues then Cyan may need to raise more funding via a placing to ensure cash flow. We have seen them do that many times and now is a good times to get a good placing price. I will continue to look at Cyan and have placed a buy if the price reduces to .02p | yesrupnel
06/4/2016 14:52 | Apologies if this February presentation was posted before - but should be an update to this in due course. Huge follow on potential from existing orders/clients to date. Pages 7 - 12 highly encouraging in terms of initial sales relative to clients customer base. Page 6 - Strategic partnership with Newcapec an £800m m/cap leading solutions provider in China - 35 branches in China and 900 employees to jointly explore new opportunities in next generation smart metering for power, gas and water as well as emerging city applications for lighting and sensors in China and internationally. Page 9 - India. Thirty one smart metering opportunities in the pipeline with an overall metering pipeline of 497ku./53m customers. Page 10 - Pilots/small orders started in Brazil, South Africa, Ghana ($3m letter of intent for one + an additional order re Ghana) and Eastern & Southern Europe just as the Iran pilot was deployed. | zengas
06/4/2016 14:50 | Anyone here read the CANTOR broker buy note on CYAN? | cpap man
06/4/2016 14:50 | ZENGAS, Agreed, despite my caution there are massive revenue streams in prospect. It's no secret that the Board are working towards a Buy-out scenario. There has been some discussion on the old BB speculating why an Indian player/partner (or El Sewedy) have not made a move already. I think we need to be cognisant of anti-competition law - an early acquisition move may stifle the business opportunity? Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
06/4/2016 14:43 | This order could well be enough to push CYAN to break-even for the next two years and provides a £1M revenue stream for the following three years. But it may be much better than that. As mentioned several times already there is massive scope for more Iranian orders then there is India who may now be inclined to jump on the bandwagon sooner rather than later plus the other trials may develop into something. Nothing is certain yet. There is still a small risk of complete loss. But the scope for a genuinely big multi bag from here is undeniable. The price is very low given the high reward/risk ratio. | puffintickler
06/4/2016 14:31 | Duxy what could be RNS ed in next month please? | goodbloke1
06/4/2016 14:18 | Thanks tightfist - agree and it's my own projection and have looked at todays announcement re half the contract on software revenue. Saying that, I feel it could amount to a very significant income stream if orders continue to mount and a possibility that Cyan could eventually be eyed up by a much bigger player ? | zengas
06/4/2016 14:08 | FWIW I concur with Duxy's expectation. I've just noted on s'pedia that I think there is a decent chance of further, more substantial orders - and if we see another £20-30mn order from Iran and a similar order in another market, then sentiment will flip round sharply and drive the shares higher - because there will then be seen to be more to come. 1p may be just the start of a bigger move over the next 3-4 years? | emptyend
06/4/2016 14:00 | goodbloke, at some point, in the next few days, a retest of the lower level is expected, nothing goes up in a straight line. I expect this will start moving up to higher levels as the reality of this dawns on more investors and fund managers. I do very much believe the any such drift down will be bought in to. If what I am thinking could be RNS'ed in the next month or two, that 1p target will be reached before a smart meter has left UK shores! | duxy786_2 |
