Does anyone expect a bump on Wednesday? Trying to figure out if I should pick some shares up before or wait for results. As I understand it results should be in line with expectation and thus if anything might cause it to open lower?

Full year results will be out next Wednesday 4th July - and a 50k buy at 44p has just been reported.

Minor bit of news from the CSFG web site not posted here before which sounds OK.

Hopefully the decent results out soon will in particular attract institutional interest given the 4.5% dividend yield, let alone the P/E of 6.8:

RNS out - results will be out on 4th July, with analyst briefings etc.

The April trading update said trading was in line with expectations of 6.4p EPS, and once again we have no movement /comments away from this. Bargain time.

Good to see a small rally here whilst I've been away on hols. Should have stayed away longer!

Results next month will show 6.4p+ EPS. The commentary should outline the expansion plans per the last trading RNS, and meanwhile we've had a nice 1.92p dividend - an almost 4.5% yield is not to be sniffed at.

Why has this tanked over the last year when IOM and TCY have done the complete opposite? The market doesn't like something about CSFG and I'm interested to know what it might be. I notice cash dropped quite a lot over the past two years although some of this is to do with dividend. Also profits not actually increasing.

This looks interesting but some warning signs.

Today, as there often is, there was a small (3k) sale pre-open. If I were cynical I would theorise that a larger holder is selling off tiny parcels of stock to create bad vibes for the day and encourage further selling - which he then buys into. This has been seen before many times.

Since you mentioned strange selling at pre market open, we now have a couple of trades (3200) showing at 37p (which seems a roll-over to me) from 08:03 this morning (but only showing on the trades column just after 4pm), is this an attempt to give the allusion of some selling here.

Seems to me that someone is playing games here, in an attempt to get cheap stock...

Thanks for that article, which basicaly states that Richard Penny (from L & G alpha) has shown his faith in the company to be still intact by increasing his stake substantially in the company.
