Thanks Riv, hopefully enough of these wins to offset any losses of business. It looks like the share price will sit still until IMS Tuesday, unless an attempt to tree shake today or Monday. Sat waiting to buy more if it looks like a tree shake or on Tuesday if outlook is strong, as it could be

CRE's TMW creating a big new campaign for Nissan:

"Nissan eyes mass market for Leaf

Wed, 4 Jul 2012
Nissan is preparing a major push for its Leaf electric car brand in a bid to take advantage of an expected surge in demand for electrical vehicles over the next ten years.

Ahead of a "mass market campaign" in the next two years, a CRM drive will target two distinct audiences with an email and direct campaign created by TMW.

"Green" consumers will receive messaging about the car's zero emissions, high speed and charging options, while a "tech" audience will be targeted with messaging about the Leaf's "unique" technology including its integrated navigation and telematics system and smartphone app that lets drivers pre-set the car's heating and air-conditioning as well as plan journeys before they get into the car.

Yasmin Al Jeboury, Nissan CRM manager, told Marketing Week that the CRM campaign and recent social media activity for Leaf provides the information needed "to build up a much bigger strategy in future for when we do go mass market with this car."

"We're making a massive investment and this is going to be a big volume line. It's not a niche model it's a family car and that's what will make it successful. [electric cars] have to do what normal cars do - that's sometimes forgotten with other electric vehicles and marketing that's out there," she says.

etc"

Maybe another shake of the tree may come before next Tuesday IMS. Holding up pretty well today all in all. Took some trading stock off the table today (quite a lot!), with a view to adding bcak in cheaper pre IMS if we have a shake out or post if outlook strong. Still have a healthy long term holding

Some different opinions about a share is healthy imo.....
Funkmaster has also posted some of the negative angles as I have......

The fact is that the CRE performance since it started has been dismal, lower share price now than it was when it started 12 years ago. And there were big redundancy costs last year. I want to see and discuss all the news/angles not just the positive side. And you and Mag post the positive side so no need for me to do so as well.

"But, looking at the IMS from last year and the FY results there's still some uncertainly here - relocations/redundancies, Corkery introduction/assimilation, Insight lacking new clients (and a lot of businesses are scaling back on this type of activity at the moment anyway)"

but I see your point......

I didnt expect it to keep going up after such a run already,,,,
maybe it is shorters closing....
although why anyone would short it at 50 to 60p range beats me......chance of going down a lot from there was very small...much better shorts out there imo esp, companies with poor perf. and debt....

unless shorters ran it as a pair going long on other stock in the sector....

if shorters still need to close then maybe more to come....illiquid as you say, although bound to be some profit takers selling after such a run

Would a bid for the company @90-100p come as a surprise? If you go back and find the link I have posted a few times, 1M short positions covered in last week. Still 1M to cover, quite a lot for such an illiquid stock.

Nice start to the week with buying still coming in.

Funkmaster, I agree that there is a level of uncertainty here given the factors outlined on the thread before.

However, I take comfort from:

- CRE's use of the phrase "profitable growth" in their outlook statement
- the most recent forecasts from not one but THREE brokers as follows, which will undoubtedly have had some input from the company:

Singer Capital 06-07-12 BUY EPS 13.4p Dividend 3.8p
XCAP Securities 28-06-12 BUY EPS 13.9p Dividend 3.6p
Investec Securities 26-06-12 BUY EPS 13.6p Dividend 3.7p

A P/E of only just above 5 is hardly demanding. Let alone the 5% dividend yield.

Really struggling to call this one. On the face of it things look good - very little net debt, sector is performing well and about to be extremely busy this summer, good dividend, XD approaching, Aegis et al. But, looking at the IMS from last year and the FY results there's still some uncertainly here - relocations/redundancies, Corkery introduction/assimilation, Insight lacking new clients (and a lot of businesses are scaling back on this type of activity at the moment anyway)

It still seems a cautious buy as the company seems undervalued, but I'm sceptical of this going anywhere high above 80p over the next few weeks - the IMS could bring it crashing back again as per the last one.

...the run up from 50p to 70p seems a bit over done imo with no fall backs....but you never know...

from here on who knows....
the NT effect is now largely over....or will be in a few weeks imo...

short term the sector may expect good news due to Olympics advertising spend....but that will soon be over....
and the Eurozone and USA and UK debt problem news will return...and cuts....and market sentiment will affect marketing sector share prices a lot imo....if sentiment is good then cheap shares like CRE should benefit but if market sentiment returns to gloom then marketing sector is likely to get a low P/E rating again as it has over last 12 months...

as always, conflicting possibilities....
(and if sentiment changes...then NT could well cut and run and take his profit....he likes to impose stop losses....)

time will tell

Moving up nicely again - here's what NT said yesterday. Looks like he's aiming for 100p or more:

"The new one is Creston (CRE). Interesting this one, debt free now after selling a business and moving into a new area - a very decent dividend too. Over 5%. It really looks mighty cheap at anything under a quid. Not sure of the timescale on this one but potential for the longer-term. Kind of wish I'd got in when it was lower but for now anything in the 60s looks a good entry point. I was quite interested to see the number of trades increasing in this one over the last 3 weeks too."

Markt - glad this one has been good to you! QS9 - yes, markt point on the execs being overpaid is very much spot on. Glad a few of us topped up and got a bit reward ourselves.

Will we pause here, or at 85p? There are shorts to cover so think we have more to go personally. Then onto Riv's 100p, think that depends on our IMS, Helicopter Ben and the Euro Farce.

Nice to see strong blue on here and the sun is finally shining. GLA

Excellent move again.

As previously stated:

- consensus from 3 brokers is for 13.8p EPS this year and 14.6p EPS next year
- with 3.7p and 3.94p dividends respectively
- CRE has a very sound Balance Sheet being net debt free
- the digital division is now a large percentage of revenues and rising
- health and pharmaceutical revenues also comprise a large part of revenues and should rise nicely over time despite cyclical fluctuations
- sector sentiment is positive after this week's Aegis takeover
- this year should be a good one with the Olympics and US elections still to come

Even a re-rating to a P/E of only 7 would see around a 100p share price.
