05/3/2012 10:46 | From the chairman's write up in the final results of Athelney trust. made me think of Creston ! "The salary of the chief executive of the large corporation is not a market award for achievement. It is frequently in the nature of a warm personal gesture by the individual to himself - J.K. Galbraith. " | markt
03/3/2012 07:26 | Yes, saw that Riv. Maybe we will have to wait for the update in April to see 80p back. And hopefully a decent well written update. | madengland
01/3/2012 12:18 | Hope so Madengland - good progress today too. I note that WPP today reported full-year results in line on revenues and ahead on earnings and 2012 guidance better than expectations. That might have a good effect on sector ratings and sentiment. | rivaldo
29/2/2012 17:41 | Yes, should be back to 80p soon. Clearly Hermes and Ruffer are still happy holding. Hermes are a pretty active holder.....maybe that could be good for CRE | madengland
29/2/2012 12:07 | New recent highs now. | rivaldo
22/2/2012 18:28 | markt - actually more than happy to support. Bloody good idea. What's the plan for making this come to life? Am happy to help out.... | madengland
22/2/2012 14:48 | happy to support also | colyoung
22/2/2012 09:18 | markt - happy to support the petition mate | madengland
21/2/2012 19:21 | Hi Riv ah, 2013....I had thought you meant this fin. year. "so evidently those who follow the company are happy that this year's wobble won't be repeated." ...mmmm, analysts get paid to produce something....they had said 15p for this year..that got blown out of the water...current fall in turnover at CRE, I am sure that analysts don't know the numbers for it or the costs to reduce staff numbers, is it not closed period ....Q4 numbers are not pretty imo (since headline for year is known and Q1-3 then Q4 can be estimated ....will Q4 be a one off, or will next Q1 also be affected...we don't know imo... ....Creston has had problems with start ups before....and closed them down...and problems with Insight div. after the key managers/dirs. all left... ...whether Singapore start will do well, or USA venture....unknown at present imo....but news that the Sing. start up is not profitable is not good sign imo..noting that it opened with at least 2 major customers incl HTC (personally I have seen less HTC adverts than in the past...Samsung smartphones is busy advertiser that I can see for phones...looks to me like car adverts are taking over TV ads. at the moment and that other stuff is 'less'..) | markt
21/2/2012 18:58 | The 11.3p-13.2p EPS is the "true" adjusted EPS per the analysts - forget the headline EPS as it's affected by one-offs etc. Those are the forecasts for the coming year to March'13, so evidently those who follow the company are happy that this year's wobble won't be repeated. If they're right the present price is a bargain. If they're wrong, then even if EPS falls to say 8p, the current share price remains reasonable. This coming year will benefit from: - Olympics - Diamond Jubilee - Euro 2012 and CRE's digital expertise should give them a head start for any related campaigns. | rivaldo
21/2/2012 11:33 | EPS or adjusted EPS....or headline ?? Company has stated to expect headline to be slightly below last years headline....ie. 11-12p. and that excludes certain items included in EPS calc. Producing an EPS after tax and CRE wiggle factors of perhaps 9p ? fall in marketing spend by companies due to less spending and profits in retail sector....good question....(HTC has reduced I think) | markt
21/2/2012 10:56 | Nice jump to new recent highs. The P/E based on new forecasts of 11.3p EPS to 13.2p EPS remains extremely low. | rivaldo
15/2/2012 10:36 | Certainly ticking up a bit daily Madengland :-) | 5dally
09/2/2012 16:43 | Won't be long till this is back @80p. | madengland
09/2/2012 16:16 | Riv, I think PeelHunt, I deleted the file, sorry so DYOR on that one! Am still in as feel it has some way to run still. Don't disagree with posts above, just feel that below around 65p......cheers for now. | qs9
09/2/2012 16:04 | Thanks Riv, appreciate the post | madengland
09/2/2012 14:14 | We now have two post-IMS forecasts, from 11.2p-11.9p EPS for last year and 11.3p to 13.2p EPS next year - with consensus 3.2p and 3.4p dividends: 2012 2013 Date Rec Pre-tax (£) EPS (p) DPS (p) Pre-tax (£) EPS (p) DPS (p) Singer Capital Markets 03-02-12 BUY 10.30 11.90 3.30 11.70 13.20 3.50 XCAP Securities 30-01-12 BUY 9.60 11.20 3.10 10.20 11.30 3.30 | rivaldo
07/2/2012 19:54 | Some big buys before close today. This is a low p/e - low PSR divi paying share. Poss takeover target at this price too. | pictureframe
07/2/2012 14:36 | Indeed pictureframe. It dropped too far given that it was already at such a cheap valuation, and now on a P/E of 5 or so it's ripe for a bounce imho. | rivaldo
06/2/2012 13:57 | Short term bounce due here me thinks. | pictureframe
06/2/2012 13:25 | agreed,good on you. | cambium |
