They are in fact ready to spend money, that is proved in the comment printed below from February. in the past they have always acquired using shares as we know at 1.25p.

Whatever may or may not be brewing within CRV, at this time they are playing things very close to their chest. What has previously happened on every occasion is that just prior to news being released there have been a few decent buys. Nowadays if we see a trade its a time for excitement..

Mark Pajak simply refuses to converse with any shareholder no matter how many shares they have, one would bet that he definitely did have contact with Evan Kalimtgis however.

Apart from the AGM last December when he told gathered shareholders that he had access to £20m "should they need it" and the tease in February of working on "several transformational deals" there has been nothing. Whatever they are working on, it must be big.

May well be a hidden gem, the interims failed to update us in anything approaching an acceptable manner on current investments. Royalty Sports for example have issued a set of accounts and doubled their staffing since acquisition, yet there has been zero from CRV on their performance.

However I think Evan has been attracted by something much, much bigger than current assets.....

WHAT is the motive behind these big players buying into crv.I think there is a hidden gem in the portfolio but how do they know ?So why dont the bod tell everybody then the share price goes up making there jobs safer.If there is a bid for the company then they could be out on there ear .

RE: CRVAnother Bulish holding increase. Two very established and respected investors taking a significant position in little old CRV. It's there own dough. Ask yourself why? Wild punt? I suspect not. Informed Investment? I strongly suspect this to be the case. But CRV haven't told the market anything I hear you say! . Rumours of significant progress continue to circle. That's all they are, but come on people really. An absolute no brainer. This moved 300% on the farmlands of Africa deal. Out of which I did very well. So I will continue to be patient. Imagine if some of these bigger deals get finalised. It will go Crackers. Regards Rusty

leejohn 401 postsCrvMy personal view on this share is its well undervalued and as we know well under the radar, so if you can hold do so, I only have my own money in here as I dont do things like T20's so currently I can be very patient but crv is a funny old share, the potential here is big and these large holders and accumulators clearly agree so for me its a strong hold. Just think if and when we get some good news I can see this going wild one day as its currently overlooked and a bit of a sleeper to the general so called herd.

That's the point Lee, its just a shame that CRV don't get some more information about current projects out there. I'm sure they could if they wished.. Holdings RNSs are usually ignored in the main by the herd, and as we aren't full blown rampers talking about "10 baggers" or 2p next week, we can't do a lot to change that. But..we now have to hope that the press have nothing else to put in their papers and decide to have a closer look at us with Sir Dave increasing. You never know.

LSE postsI'm sure its all coincidence that Evan Kalimtgis comes from nowhere to now own 26.4% of CRV and Sir Dave increases his holding. 2 Big hitters/names take sizeable stakes in little old CRV..Wonder if some of their well heeled mates will stick a few quid in?

Anyone else hearing whispers of a holdings RNS? A friend of mine has been contacted by his broker asking if he would be interested in selling a very large amount of shares at WELL over the current bid price. He politely declined.

My Friday phrase for the day - "without delay"......

Fact is someones been happy to buy 2m at 59, thats nigh on £12,000. Us mere mortals balk at the thought of paying above our average.

One day we may well look back and regret that, I really hope so !

As TC says on LSE, I can see a holdings RNS in the not too distant future.

Absolutely no interest here other than x2 our two big buyers who seem happy to throw lumps in!
How odd when there has been no news or promotion by CRV.

The rest is all pocket money trades.

They want them for some reason.
News on this alleged big deal in Kenya would be welcome soon.

Truly remarkable how this has stayed off the radar..................
All orchestrated, IMHO.

Most PI's are surely here in long term here now. Not a sign of the herd.
Can such a little gem go unnoticed before the touch paper is finally lit?
My hope is that just for once in this corrupt AIM cesspit that a few loyal LTH's are handsomely rewarded for there loyalty and patience.
We can but hope.

I would hazard a guess that very few, if any, of the recent buys are new money. There is simply nothing in the public domain over the last few weeks on CRV so nothing to attract new investors. This rise is down to existing holders adding in my opinion. A holdings RNS would be nice.....

I cannot help but imagine what will happen when there is press on CRV...... :-)

I must join the other site - I always read the posts but don't participate.

Appreciate your efforts on both boards Karina but, as you say, there's not many of us holders around it would seem.

Completely off the radar and incredibly quiet from the company too which is often a good time to build a holding ... as we're seeing right now.

I've collected about 3.5 million so far and have a couple of million tucked away in a SIPP so, as things stand right now, I'm here for the long term. That said, I feel it's only a matter of time before we see a re-rating to more sensible levels.

I'm looking forward to the next holdings RNS and to find out exactly what is behind EKs decision to invest so heavily.
