07/1/2015 10:12 | Reckon so they have to issue AR in Januaryand given they are suspended would defo think news on that matter. Interestingly they have justswung into profit so might be something decent in it for CRV?. These guys know there stuff so i doubt they would bother otherwise!. | seismick

06/1/2015 13:58 | This should be a good defensive stock in 2015......anything oil related seems to be getting mashed up as the Saudis use the slump in oil prices to take out their competitors...they can afford to keep pumping oil at any price but the smaller frackers (working on borrowed money which they will not be able repay) and more expensive offshore producers and explorers will just give up if oil stays low through 2015... | monkey puzzle
29/12/2014 08:50 | LSE CRVSun 10:56What we have learnt from the AGM last week should give all holders renewed confidence. New deals are being worked on. CRV have an immediate access to £20m funds, (how many AIM companies can say that??) Deals will not be done at under 1.25p. We are massively undervalued. Also Mr Pajak stated the next calendar year would be very busy for CRV and some of the portfolio had a clear and rewarding strategy which would soon be realised. Makes our current MC look decidedly undervalued by some way surely? | karina
24/12/2014 12:15 | Same to you MP Another post from Rusty Sorry things keep coming back to me. Nothing would be done at less than 1.25p. That was the benchmark for the future and Mr Pajak mentioned they had access to approx £20m to conduct any future transactions should they wish to do so and was immediately accessible. | karina

24/12/2014 09:16 | rusty. I read about the exit strategies in the results RNS. Could be some serious cash coming in soon if you read the overview of portfolio and each asset situation!. | pembury
24/12/2014 09:13 | Morning MP. Asked about that and the reply hinted that CRV was approaching a critical period where a number of the portfolio were ready for an exit and that the cash position would be much healthier in 12 months time. He even mentioned a dividend, although I chuckled at that one! He also talked about RTO's........ Both inwards and outwards. From what we talked about 2015 should be a lot busier than 2014 and a lot more rewarding for holders here. Regards Rusty | rusty9717
24/12/2014 08:22 | lofl...my red ticks are back again rusty.....pembury thank you for one of those | monkey puzzle
24/12/2014 08:09 | Rusty, Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed meeting Mark.....just hope (and believe) that he is more credible than another CEO we both know from the past elsewhere. Would be nice to see CRV deliver something for their shareholders next year other than more aquisitions using company paper which while it may be great for the business it does little for what's important to us. | monkey puzzle
24/12/2014 07:52 | Thanks a lot rusty9717 for the feedback, certainly looks an interesting one. | pembury
23/12/2014 21:10 | Arrived home after making the trip to the AGM. Was very pleased to meet the elusive Mr Pajak. There were 5 of us in total with just Mr P from CRV. The other investors don't post on here and were very long term holders. Essentially I had a personal Q and A session after the mundane matters were dealt with. My impressions of Mr P was of a very pleasant and professional man happy to answer the questions asked. In a nutshell, am I happy with my holding. Yes. Would I add based on what I heard. Yes. Why? It was evident there is a lot of work being done in the background as the last RNS clearly indicated. Future deals ARE being worked on. Also Mr Pajak stated the next calendar year would be very busy for CRV and some of the portfolio had a clear and rewarding strategy which would soon be realised. He was adamant 1.25 was the benchmark and nothing would be done below that. He also stated we were massively undervalued. He was professional and never let his guard down answering all questions clearly and professionally like a well versed politician. When asked will any deals be done soon, only then did his calm persona change slightly. When pressed, His expression changed, he became fidgety and started fiddling with his wedding ring, stating with a wry smile he could not possibly comment! My view and it is is only my view is that something may be close. Especially after the last RNS. Much of what I asked and witnessed will be passed on to a few friends as in a nutshell I got off my backside to attend! It really is invaluable to meet the people you are investing in and I left happy knowing CRV is in safe hands. | rusty9717
23/12/2014 14:06 | Hmmmm...moving on the day of the DAN AGM.....I wonder? | monkey puzzle

19/12/2014 12:44 | From Novembers results. Craven House acquired 49% of Royalty Sports Brands (Pty) Ltd ("RSB"); a distribution company in South Africa which distributes sporting goods, clothing and equipment. Once again the vendors were in financial distress but the underlying business holds great promise. We replaced the management and restructured the business by aggressively paying down debt and shedding unprofitable business lines. Where once directors received significant cash compensation we replaced the board with individuals who receive no compensation until such time as the business is generating surplus funds and capable of paying a dividend. | karina
19/12/2014 12:39 | Impressive revenues (GBP£2.4m) and expected to be 'significantly increased' in this current year!. CRV hold 49%. One string to CRV's many bows. | pembury
19/12/2014 12:22 | New Royalty Sports website up and running, at last ! Royalty Sports has more than doubled its salesforce since April 2014 and is committed to increased investment in staff and logistics in order to offer their distributor partners a world class distribution channel into Africa. | karina
19/12/2014 08:11 | Just 100k online again pembury. NMS is 150k | karina
18/12/2014 16:32 | If it is its been a long lunch, buying has been restricted for the last few days. | karina |
