16/7/2021 12:55 | You mean at, say, 45p, the market cap would be £123m, with a current cash position of £113m? So the business, because of market weakness and poor management communication would be worth £10m? OK - we'll see. | imastu pidgitaswell

15/7/2021 12:58 | Surely investing is about looking forward.... lifting covid restrictions will improve efficiency and therefore profitabilty... expect a nice jump when that kicks in. | greg the grinch
15/7/2021 10:43 | I think there are just a lot of people siting on their hands and keeping their powder dry at the moment. Markets look reasonably fragile and I personally feel it wouldn't take too much to spook things and cause a significant sell off. I've got about 7% of my portfolio in cash at the moment. Less than I would like judging my the fragility of the markets. I went a little too early on a few recent investments that have cost me on paper 5-8% in the last couple of weeks. However, I feel that the investment case stacks up still. Same with Costain. Frustrating as it's not done much at all. That said the numbers look to be moving in the right direction. | pinemartin9
15/7/2021 09:48 | So why the drop in cash from 140m last year to 113m current. The update doesn't say much, looks like they could have revenue back over 1bn, so if their margins are improving it'll be a positive. Market's not behind this though. | owenski
15/7/2021 09:15 | Announcement seems to the positive, whatever holding it back, I'm not sure. Will re rate eventually, determined to hold on! | dexter1612
15/7/2021 09:03 | As expected going down. They have not given any info on margins which to me seems like they've missed their targets again...this is worrying considering expenses due to remote working were on the low side for most companies... | ammu12
15/7/2021 08:32 | A period of further consolidation for a company in the process of major improvement, so in line with expectations looks moderately positive. Meanwhile, Clearly the management is working on the basis of not gilding the lily… | davwal |
