Up till 2018 they provided a dividend of 3-5 percent per year based on a share price of 4-5 pounds. So today's price is a bargain. share price will multiple by 5

This looks like an absolute bargain. Any view on profits once the recovery is in full swing?

Costain took second place in the month thanks to a single win â€" £250m contract to upgrade the A1 between Birtley and Coal House. Bowmer & Kirkland landed third spot, its highest placing since March 2017. The firm won £215.1m worth of work spread across seven jobs. The largest of these was a £125m warehouse job in Pontefract for retailer Next."

To be fair Ammu, it's up over 100% from its lows in late October (4 months ago), and up some 10% in a week. And over the 60p resistance and issue price.

Things could be worse...

Hamhamham1 it's not my fault you bought SAGA and now there is new virus strains. The one thing I agree with you on is Costain and CNA are great stocks.

Hi Ammu. I am wondering if we're going to see a straight up takeover bid from Hands/Goldmans for Kier Group (KIE). Kier is the sector leader for most construction contracts won over the last 12 months, dominates the regional market, has big turnover and the current management has done all of the heavy lifting in getting costs cut, debts repatriated and divisions ready for sale. £3.5bn turnover during the worst economic downturn since records began and positioned well for the big infrastructure splurge which will get the economy going again.

GoldmanS and Hands could find partners to take this private, pump in new equity more easily than Kier's management team, pump up the business volume and sell it for a couple of billion in a couple of years. Current price: £150m. Good business. Maybe they could get it for £300m (approx £2 a share) all in if the major shareholders are ready to give in.

Selling Kier Living could immediately raise £120m to reduce net debt to £180m, plus there are £105m in cost savings feeding through this year according to the latest Kier RNS, and profits are likely to be minimum £70m but on rising volume (say £4.5bn in a boom infrastucture year) likely to be £90m. A booming sector might even push margins up by 1/2% or more and that would immediately transform earnings to around £115m or more. This might be an exciting week for KIE.
