.

Possibly explains the spike yesterday.

Also from the body of the RNS :-

"On the 1(st) February 2019, it purchased an
additional holding in Costain Group on behalf of the shareholders listed
in this form bringing the total holding to the 3% threshold".

It can can it, could it, surely not?
Hold above 62p for more than a few hour.
Waiting for that bid to drop to 59p after lunch...
Then again this might be our day to push theoighband start a proper rerate like saga through 320p but we are construction not cool.

Most likely market makers trying to induce some volume to fill a trade. Just my theory.

It popped up briefly as usual to 65p and now sub-60p. To my understanding, this is manipulation

I pop my head in once a day to see that the price remains at 60p whatever happens in the world. One day soon. Good luck all.

Someone really does not like this going up

Broken through, it seems.

Top people, BritishBulls, always said so... 😎

Edit - nope, the old drop the bid and widen the spread trick. Doesn't really seem fair. 'Cos it's not.

I sort of pay heed - but not to theirs... (short?! - seriously?!)

;-)

Previous ceiling again - we'll see. Remember close of play Friday for predictions at 31.12.21

For those who pay any heed to technicals, BritishBulls changed their trade signal from Short to Buy yesterday.

Ah, working together in perfect harmony.
I'm sure my friends on the KIE thread will be thrilled...

My break even is 100, I've been holding this forever it seems. Just never recovered after the welsh and utility debacle. From above the fundamentals seem fine but it's stuck at that 60p offering and needs some sort of catalyst to re-ignite it, was hoping hs2 would be it but didn't move at all

And you were even nice enough to even up Riskblue's punt.👌

Good to have someone go for less than current price - it suggests we're not all deluded optimists. Just most of us.

Close of play Friday for the final version.

As my first prediction (60p) is now the same as Thags, I'll amend mine to what would be a highly frustrating 55p (i.e. exactly £1 below that of NPP62), I hope I'm wrong:

Wasn't me that objected - it was greg the grinch? 380p prediction wasn't me either?!? No need to apologise, everything good for me...

All I ask is that people put their predictions in the table themselves - take the table, copy into post, add their own prediction in the right place and post...

Hic...😎

Amistupidaswell....I apologise if I was misunderstood. There was no malice or any kind of putting you down INTENDED in my post. I was simply commenting on your 380p prediction.

Maybe my post was easily misconstrued. Sorry.

I think the ageing process might be a problem too! :-)

There is method in my madness (yeah right) - I sold my COST shares last time @206 it was in 2011 mind you.
