Could not agree more Drewster and it will be a spectacular ride.IMHO one of the most exciting shares on the LSE.

Amazing how fickle the City can be with individuals, don't you think. Not long ago Mr R wouldn't have got much backing at all, yet now they love him (it seems). All looks very positive to me, warchest in place, multiple vehicles to do the deal or split it afterwards ... holding on for what could be a spectacular ride.

Well thats not to cover s/b's is it?
The big boys are now well and truly buying the CVS story.Lehman's with over 3% too,and i gather there are a number of other large insti's with just under 3%.All the good folk that AR needs to execute his plan.

aS I advised you all before -the action is with HIGHWAY, not corvus, its only valued at £1.5 million and will be Regans next big thing, its only started to move and most of the stock is tied up so it will rocket
buy some or you will regret it

There could very well be a massive trade (buy) in the background which might be delayed (reporting wise) for several days depending on the size.

Can you explain why HWC have gone up by 3p today but there has only been one trade which was a sell?

Aron Freedman sold his HWC shares for 16p the day before Corvus bought 1.75Mln (20%).

If they paid 16p for them, then they are already showing a 37.5% profit and the movement suggests something is about to happen.

HWC being a cash shell which has been looking for something to buy for osme time, maybe has finally found (or been found) by something suitably beneficial all round.

Future profits can offset the loss - so do you have figures for how much HWC has carried forward? These have a real world value, which needs to be added to the cash to find an approx "fair value". After that, you're valuing the human resources available to the company, and then you have ot delve through the announcements last autumn...

I am only aware of highway i dont think that there are many others that now exist as fully listed -there are a few on aim though.thats what makes highway so attractive with previous losses to set off against future profit

What are the other fully listed shells?

I have been a holder in HWC for some time, price paid 16 p,stake bought from another director. This company has been looking for action for two years, some heavyweights aboard, limited stock available - price will rocket on news, only one of a couple fully listed shells left, so has premium value.suggest you buy some quick as you will make much more than corvus.could be the bid vehicle

HWC Highway Capital is up again this morning, that's a nice leap since CVS took their position. However, I can find no details fo the price CVS paid for the 20% stake - I can find a bigger Director sell from the day before Corvus bought, so the two prices could be quite tight, though that would, as ever, be pure speculation.

Depends on the intrinsic "value" of the component parts I guess.

Brit insurance holdings valued at 1.1b looks like it would be the perfect target for CVS when they consider a bid for 250 company

Seems the bid for an insurance company valued at circa £1b could be coming sooner rather than later as the CMM deal seems to be looming..

I don't argue with you Drewester but I believe that he will have a great influence in what goes on there and I will be getting on board with my excesses! from CMM in due course but don't expect any fireworks for some time yet

I still think you may be on the wrong track. Look at the skills of the execs and non execs he has bought into, and then look at some of the speculation at what "The Big One" might be ... interesting, don't you think?

CVS just bought 20%, but Highway are not Mr R's according to everything I could find. Where did you get that info?

Keep your eye on Highway Capital over the next few weeks another Mr R company

The execs and non-execs at Highway are into Risk management and insurance, which might be a total coincidence of course, but I'm not a great believer in coincidences where money is concerned so will concentrate research along those lines for the coming days.

Would be very surprised if we don't see further press speculation this weekend too.

EDIT:

A2584728 - 18 Apr'07 - 10:32 - 86 of 105

Suggested target might be an insurance company.
Can you hint at where the rumour/info in post 86 came from?
