Something spooked the price just a few minutes ago though ... expect a large sell to be reported before end of day.

Marvellous.

Cash pile to pursue "much larger" opportunities.

Expected more of a movement, but still happy to hold.

Feeling very blue today (already)
Our friends at Commoditrade appear to be having an even more "blue" day, which has to filter through to here eventually...

Nice profits at commoditrade. looks like our stake is worth at least 30m...not bad.
I had 20p as my ceiling as well, this could be some way short.

I understand that there are a number of deals on the horizion some of which will come to fruition after the CMM deal is completed.
Definately one to be in for the short and med timescale. All imho ofcourse!

30 mln unbooked profits were mentioned, by a previous poster - are these the capital appreciation figures for CMM? If not, my 25p may well be too light as well.

Just recently they Sold their Gable holding for 10p and then also got a cash raising exercise through, so clearly coiling ready to strike - but what?! A nice pile of cash, and presumably the paper would be in demand too, so must have plenty of options for funding whatever they have identified.

Might have to review whether I will actually let them go at 20p now ... looks good for 25p if the numbers being banded about for CMM offer are anything near the truth.

You were right to describe the 12p price as "Bonkers" after all.

Hmmm, quickly followed by 2.4m at 16.56 ... a rollover position then?

EDIT
£15k to rollover though, someone is confident.

2.4m at 16.5?!
Surely a buy - two MMs on 15.5-17.0 and can't believe the others would take up stock at a premium to the bid?
WINS still happy to accumulate looking at the spreads too!

So, raised a bundle of cash off the institutions last week, now realise their holding in Gable ... something quite big must be on the cards. Hold tight huh?

Agree entirely, can't see for a minute why CVS would take on the rest of CMM, that's not in line with their strategy at all. Unless there's some golden nugget they've uncovered in CMM, but seems unlikely?

With ref to an earlier post i am not sure i would like to see the bid for cmm coming from corvus, i would rather Corvus bagged some cash from another suitor.

I still have them on my spreadsheet as fully risked value of 20p, obviously if any risks are removed, or any holdings taken out by a takeover, then there could very easily be room for upward movement from there.
Nice quick test of 16p, happy to have called this one right so far, and still remain very long.

The Drewster, well you've got the bigger push with 16.5p on the offer at noon today and 1p rise, does anyone believe the income from the placing is/was to fund a better position for taking on a purchase of CMM? Poss, IMO

Nice little breakout, I can sense 16p being tested, though there is little concerted effort from the MMs to push this higher, which suggests it will be solely demand driven for now.
Certainly intend to buy on any dips, funds permitting.

Drew,
Nice purchase @12p. Picked a few more for myself yesterday. Nice to see institutions paying close to full whack for the shares rather than a whopping discount.
In the words of the great Buffett "Buy stocks like you buy everything else, when they are on sale".
