21/4/2007 20:38 | I couldn't find any details of the price paid, i.e. whether there was much of a premium paid for the "cash" in the shell. Got to admit to being a bit puzzled, need to do some research into the board changes the back end 2006 at Highway to see if there can be some sort of logic to it all (which I am sure there is). Hopeful it is a means of getting access to more cash for "the Big One", but only time will tell. | the drewster
21/4/2007 00:17 | Does anyone know why Corvus today acquired a 20 % stake in Highway Capital HWC ( RNS at 15.37)a fully lisyed cash shell valued at £1.5 m WILL THIS BE HIS NEXT BIG THING | loobrush
20/4/2007 17:27 | I believe that these RNS confirm the stakes CVS already own in these co's....they certainly hold stakes in Global G. Nano' etc PRIOR to today if you go look at CVS's holdings. Do not think there is much to it otherwise there would have been more detailed RNS plus you would expect movement in the co's share price.Purely technical RNS's i believe. | waldof
20/4/2007 17:24 | Bought back in here today on hearing the same rumour as you A258.Also understand that the cmm deal is near completion at that price, rumours well I am due one to come up,think this is it!! | fitehills
20/4/2007 16:55 | Hardly? We need to look behind the scenes here - why take a 20% stake in a cash shell? Answers on a postcard. | the drewster
20/4/2007 16:37 | shopping spree has begun? | zobnins
20/4/2007 13:58 | The Sunday's? | waldof
20/4/2007 13:37 | Would love it to be true, I certainly haven't heard anything and would guess that the CVS movement was due to Mr R finally positioning himself to do something worthwhile with his rumoured 750M pot of funding. | the drewster
20/4/2007 13:10 | Is this just ramping or have you heard this for sure? CMM is flat today. | balla
20/4/2007 12:40 | rumour is now that CMM deal is gonna be over 70p and thats the reason for the rise so could come back as CMM has not done the same | a2584728
20/4/2007 11:33 | Interesting Drew'..............y | waldof
20/4/2007 08:37 | Have a fully risked valuation of 32.17p, but that's without knowing what plans Mr R might have to blow that wide open. | the drewster
20/4/2007 08:36 | Bet your glad you stayed on board now Drewster.... | waldof
20/4/2007 08:32 | Clearly very very nearly ready, someone must have wind of something?! | the drewster
19/4/2007 11:51 | Getting ready for new aquisitions. | zobnins
18/4/2007 21:34 | Ended on a high, good volume, prospects look very promising for tomorrow. | the drewster
18/4/2007 11:06 | You can never tell with Mr R can you, he had a reported 750m warchest to go play with, but I believe that was "pre-CMM" so if that can be sorted, who knows what sums might be available. | the drewster
18/4/2007 10:32 | Target maybe an insurance co based in LOndon with a value of circa a billion, anyone any ideas | a2584728
14/4/2007 14:02 | the drewster, Intuition tells me somethings wrong in the background. Im not convinced so i'll sit it out this time. cheers H. | humbugg
13/4/2007 08:32 | Langbar was a stock that was too good to be true wasn't it? I'm sure there have been plenty of others too. If you read a number of the stocks on the ADVFN boards, just about every AIM stock is too good to be true to someone! If it's too good to be true, usually you're missing something, or you have to convince yourself you've found the reason the market has it priced as it is (i.e. nothing auditably confirmed, management under a cloud, past skeletons and worries of future ones etc.). If you do that, and are still happy, then make your play. | the drewster
12/4/2007 18:43 | The drewster, Just wanted you to run your eyes over the available figures. Sometimes stocks seem to good to be true...hence my request. thanks H. | humbugg
11/4/2007 08:12 | I am no Sage, and know little to nothing about GTL, not a subject I have much interest, and the company strikes me as a bit of a gamble at first sight. If you've done your homework and they look cheap, then I wouldn't let me stop you - you pays your money ... | the drewster
11/4/2007 08:00 | the drewster, off topic: any chance of you having a look at GTL for me. they look cheap to me...or am i missing something. i would very much welcome the views of a sage. thanks in advance. h. | humbugg
29/3/2007 15:16 | added some more CVS to my position. looks like there is a buyer out there. imo | thenry2468 |
