26/1/2007 16:11 | Charts aren't much use on these small caps, but any chartists agree that this spike has broken out of the downtrend we have been in since September? | the drewster
26/1/2007 16:08 | Not really diluting though is it? Ok, there may be more shares, but the company is worth more. | balla
26/1/2007 16:06 | Interesting. The company has today diluted all our shares and the price goes up. | erkman
26/1/2007 15:11 | Seems plenty of sellers come out of the woodwork whenever WINS price up at 14 on the bid. Still feeling pretty smug at getting in at 12p for my latest tranche, would like 20 for them though ... any takers? | the drewster
26/1/2007 15:04 | Punters who picked up stock cica.12p will be collecting courtesy of the mm's, who will be selling on much higher into the newsflow. | waldof
26/1/2007 13:39 | Insti' ALWAYS expect a bargain but far more importantly we need their support for "The Deal", you scratch mine etc. This is great news make no mistake. | waldof
26/1/2007 13:31 | Nice...........let the news begin. | waldof
26/1/2007 13:31 | Thats Why its been kept back | dalcon01
26/1/2007 13:31 | Not sure what to make of the announcement. On the plus side, there are institutions wanting to come on board in some size, and at virtually no discount to the market price. On the downside, if the shares are so undervalued, why wouldn't Regan have stalled so the market more fully reflected the underlying business assets? All opinions welcome. | the drewster
26/1/2007 10:50 | CMM up, CVS down - makes very little sense from the outisde looking in. | the drewster
25/1/2007 11:27 | It is, equates to a new car I have my eyes on! | the drewster
25/1/2007 11:14 | 20p is very different from 12-13p The D. Depends what outcome you are seeking when you purchase. | waldof
25/1/2007 08:28 | May be bonkers, but at 20p (my own approximate current fully risked valuation - which I will not justify or attempt to here) I would book some profits. WINS must have a large sell in the background, constantly keeping the others back, so if there is an overhang, as and when it were to clear, movement is likely to be very sharp (and upwards). Pure speculation of course, just my interpretation of the info in front of me. | the drewster
25/1/2007 08:17 | Steal ianood............£3 | waldof
24/1/2007 20:47 | Thanks Waldorf, personally I believe them to be an absolute steal at current levels. | ianood
24/1/2007 16:37 | ian': But New Star have a stake in CVS and bear in mind they had a major stake (as they do now) in CMM when CVS all but owned it prior to the LME deal. But not worth splitting hairs over.........i take your point for it is one i have put DIRECTLY to CVS management in the past! | waldof
24/1/2007 16:31 | Waldof, point taken but I would add that CVS is his vehicle whereas the others have only been investents by CVS. | ianood
24/1/2007 15:23 | Seems I must have just about caught the bottom. Very unlike me lately, but not at all unhappy about it. | the drewster
24/1/2007 14:46 | CMM on a bit of a ride today - the cynic in me suggests some news may have leaked to the right "faces", time will tell I guess, but has to be good for CVS no matter what is causing the rise. The last round of speculation had takeout prices of 50p and 45p for CMM, though mid year last year weren't people speculating about 60-75p? Anyone got any reason to believe any one figure more than any other? | the drewster
24/1/2007 14:35 | Ian': a reasonable conclusion to come to, but not the case so much now.....just take a look at New Star Asset Managements varioue holdings in R's outfits and they are the DARLINGS of the City right now.Other insti's also have reasonable stakes. The City is a more forgiving place than it was 30 or 40 let alone 50 years ago.I expect great things from CVS. Nice one Drewster. | waldof
24/1/2007 09:36 | Must be a reasonably large seller int he wings, picked up another tranche this morning at 12p sugegsting all the other trades going through at 12 are buys. | the drewster
23/1/2007 22:26 | Regardless of the success of Corvus' investments it looks to me as though the City is still punishing Andrew Regan. Ultimateley though I believe that the value of this company will come through. | ianood
23/1/2007 18:08 | looks like the deal is dead in the water. Hohum. | humbugg
23/1/2007 14:00 | Little consolation as it may be coming from a stranger The Drewster but i say you have nothing to fear. | waldof
23/1/2007 11:18 | From a charting perspective, if this breaches 12p downwards, then 10p will be the next support line I have. Cannot begin to second guess what is going on, but either some fund or other is being forced to re-align their portfolio and they have to get rid of oodles of these, or there is something nasty lurking which we will only get to find out in the fullness of time? Would rather it bounced rapidly upwards, as I hold a bundle of these on the back of my calcualted value for CMM alone. | the drewster |
