05/10/2021 09:01 | Note that WHI are putting the dividend at 0.5p per year, taking the view that the 2021 interim payment was actually a delayed payment for 2020. That may be triggering sells from income seekers. | effortless cool
05/10/2021 09:01 | MM trick ,also did some people read financial highlights and see no dividend, but had to read further ,audit technicality,to find confirmation of 1p for year. | charo
05/10/2021 08:53 | Strange as you say charo - more buys than sells showing so far and what is going on? | clocktower
05/10/2021 08:48 | Why would he not.Div 7% plus,in the bag for foreseeable future.Return on cash nil. Nowt so Queen as day trader folk. | charo
05/10/2021 08:47 | Come on folks do not miss the bargain that is giving a great return. This will soon be up again imo. Good Luck. | clocktower
05/10/2021 08:37 | All this bluster how good the results are and how well the old fart is doing and yet the share price is sinking like a stone - why are you not putting your money in now? JG will soon be buying for treasury I guess as the share price falls - as I expected. | clocktower
05/10/2021 07:58 | Cru has done well over a period of substantial headwinds & despite that our first half has been positive (it ends in under 4 weeks)so all looking positive ,currently .We supply the Auto industry ,which can’t be doing well but is clearly not material & it will be interesting to see what is done with the cash .For those of us who have been here for eons ,we are used to unexpected unpleasant surprises so the jury remains out for me but I will take 7% (n our current sp)& hope for no more banana skins & some share price appreciation as The Market regains confidence in our proposition -until JG bails out -at which time our investment may be crystallised | base7
05/10/2021 07:51 | Yes all rather good again | bishan bedi
05/10/2021 07:51 | On a rough calculation, the current market cap equates to valuing the underlying £756k PTP on a PE of 11, plus £5.5m surplus cash (the balance being required for liquidity). That does not seem unreasonable to me, with plenty of upside potential through operational gearing if the existing businesses can grow top line and the cash is deployed for bolt-on acquisitions. Plus a 7% dividend yield while you wait. | effortless cool
05/10/2021 07:44 | £2.5 ,million profit after tax in company reflected in increased distributable reserves and very positive bank balance with positive start to current year. Poor old demented JG. | charo
05/10/2021 07:43 | £2.5 ,million profit after tax in company reflected in increased distributable reserves and very positive bank balance with positive start to current year. Poor old demented JG. | charo
05/10/2021 07:33 | Cash is going to be more than half the current market cap. Dividend yield around 7%. The continuing business is increasing revenue rapidly. More acquisitions are in prospect using the cash. Circumstances are making life difficult short term, but in the medium term prospects are good. | this_is_me
04/10/2021 16:54 | JG maybe suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and just forgot it's the 4th October 2021 - dont be hard on the old fart. | clocktower
04/10/2021 16:46 | One for JG and those that thought they might be in for some Booty today! :-) | clocktower
04/10/2021 16:04 | Will it be an after hours job - not exactly something that inspires confidence after the RNS last week is it. Or even this late in the day. Come on JG have the house brokers got serious questions with the statement or numbers? | clocktower
04/10/2021 15:35 | "IF" If JG is holding the results because of the building deal, I see no advantage, better to have another RNS in a couple of days if the results are as good as most believed and even the updates from JG suggest. However those updates may not have taken into account one off expenses like the roof - we shall have to wait to see the facts. | clocktower
04/10/2021 13:52 | If they've exchanged, they are legally obliged to complete. | hatfullofsky
04/10/2021 11:39 | I was just thinking if something has gone wrong about obtaining the certificate, so the buyers will complete - what then for the sp? Hopefully JG has not dropped another *ollock! | clocktower
04/10/2021 11:31 | Thanks for the info hat - I could not get a online sell quote as I currently do not hold any. I prefer numbers being released at or after 9am, as everyone is in the same boat then, and MM cannot get much of an upper hand or certain traders for that matter. CT | clocktower
04/10/2021 11:04 | Agree that disappointing that the RNS was not published at 9am.Perhaps there were finishing touches needed to the statement which were to be done this am, prior to the RNS or perhaps an error was spotted on final proof read of statement which needs correcting.Little could have changed since Friday so I expect a resumption of buy backs following release of the RNS & if an investor wants to sell, we will be able to remove that overhang from The Market. We have the cash to buy back more than 50% of our issued shares & still be very liquid, if JG has no other plans for our funds & a sustainable divi of 1p given our recent share price range gives a yield of over 7% at our current share price ,which should be sustainable -with the big caveat that our 3 trading subsids ( currently) remain profitable. | base7
04/10/2021 10:53 | I can get both buy and sell bids for 100k, guess there must be buyers and sellers in the wings. "Coral expects to release its final results for the year to 30 April 2021 on 4 October 2021" I guess there are 24hrs in a day :-) and he's left wiggle room with "expects" but I much prefer a 7am RNS ! He's definitely waiting for the sale to complete | hatfullofsky
04/10/2021 10:14 | JG keeping everyone waiting but I just did a online dummy buy for 100k at 14.14 which surprised me - I guess there is a seller in the wings. Good Luck folks. Fingers on the buy buttons. :-) | clocktower |
