29/4/2021 18:12 | A stalker? | temelco
29/4/2021 17:46 | Even bigger drop of 500k today - Is a new institution picking big blocks of stock up? | clocktower
29/4/2021 14:56 | Another couple of pence and I expect we could see the first real retrace as more recent buyers take small profits off the table. Unless JG comes out with such good news as to drive it much higher, I think we will just have to wait until we get the numbers or a very strong trading statement that more or less sets out where we are as regards the full year figures. One thing we can be sure of now, JG will not be adding at over 15p. | clocktower
29/4/2021 12:00 | So another 0.5p rise in the bid today draws sellers out and we have another 1m shares traded day. But who is doing the buying? | aleman
29/4/2021 11:49 | Can't help but think the new Nomad is doing a good job..... | temelco
29/4/2021 08:37 | Seems like the MM are trying to make buys look like sells to get stock from weak holders. | clocktower
29/4/2021 08:28 | Looks like we shall see a heavy volume again today again. Seems to be struggling to pass 15p at present but maybe once over the hurdle it may jump towards 20p before a re-trace. | clocktower
29/4/2021 08:08 | Share price at time of reappointment of JG as executive chair 4p,today 14.50p. | charo
29/4/2021 07:59 | As our year ends tomorrow a trading update hopefully confirming the continued profitability of our 3 operating subsidiaries would be helpful. That said, if JG has a number in mind of the number of additional shares he wishes to buy back he may delay an update in order to try to buy back as many shares as possible at current levels as too much positivity now will see our share price firm further- call my a cynic ! | base7
28/4/2021 19:44 | "Wythenshawe is an area of south Manchester, England. Historically in Cheshire, Wythenshawe was transferred in 1931 to the City of Manchester, which had begun building a massive housing estate there in the 1920s" Gulp... | temelco
28/4/2021 19:24 | Where iz zis Wizenshaw ? | zoolook
28/4/2021 17:59 | I'd agree Aleman, classic strengthening strategy prior to.... something or other | temelco
28/4/2021 17:58 | Aleman, very few PI's would vote imo, as most of their shares are held or traded through nominee accounts and it would be unusual for most of them to bother. The shares are more likely to be used in some sort of deal as to be of any real value the current share price would have to be very much higher to make them of any real value to the company. base7 - I agree with your estimate of 10%+ but once it hits over 20/25p that may dwindle imo. Hopefully JG sells Haydock at a price that is based on less than 7% next year, as he will have had it revalued for this years accounts, which will show the big jump in book value. | clocktower
28/4/2021 17:37 | All this volume is highly unusual. But what does it mean? Directors probably don't have enough to push a deal through, even with a few friendly institutions. I'm wondering if buybacks are being used to mop up loose small shareholders as a precurser to some kind of deal that will need a vote. It certainly feels like something is in the offing. | aleman
28/4/2021 17:29 | Hopefully we will have bought them back for Treasury - a strategy which for for large companies is often futile as the share price does not react & the yield doesnt change .As we are such a low cap company ,with rental income which currently on its own supports a dividend yield of around 3%, ie without including any operating profits, share buy backs have a noticeable effect on our key metrics even after a relatively small amount of purchases & particularly with such a small free float .The few of us who post here may well account for 10% + of the current free float | base7
28/4/2021 16:28 | WOW that was a big drop of 500k at 14p maybe Peter Gyllenhammer dropping another wedge. Still whoever it was they have quickly been swallowed. | clocktower
28/4/2021 14:48 | So £340k pa at ( being very generous to a purchaser ) 8.5% = £4,000,000. Just saying | temelco
28/4/2021 14:44 | Well done This-is-me -nice to know it's good for you | temelco
28/4/2021 14:41 | I am delighted that I have now, overall, doubled my money here. it could easily double from here too. There is much more optimism about the company than there was when I was paying 5-6p last summer. | this_is_me
28/4/2021 12:02 | This is interesting - Thanks for the link bertiebloggs. Even better than I thought. "It also paid off the entire £ 1.6m mortgage balance of Haydock’s property used for Coral Products (Molding), which the new owner leased back for 10 years, for the current £ 300,000 annual rent. However, after ongoing roof repairs, rent will be raised to £ 340,000 per year." "Is WH Ireland too cautious? That’s not a bad thing, but I think the group’s share could actually go far beyond the “fair value” range of 15p-18p. I see them double and then some." | clocktower

28/4/2021 11:42 | Morning clockers I can only buy 2500 on HL at the moment at 14.5p. Looks like my 15p buy target is about to happen... | bishan bedi
28/4/2021 11:36 | Looks like a pressure cooker that is about to blow with all the buys this morning. Online offer anyone? | clocktower |
