Well BB being a "reverse prophet" is a good thing too - do the opposite of what you think! I have known two people in my life who were infallibly wrong every time and profited mightily from it

Haha if only i were half as good as 2345 temelco!

Love the chess quote too.

On a more serious note it always worries me when I am this sort of investing mood, normally means the market top is in...

in a word, clockers, 'risk'!

Looks like i missed the 13.3p that was on offer earlier, so i shall sit on my hands and buy at 15p in a couple of weeks :)

edit: 'word' for 'work'

Why talk yourself out of it, if you sitting on a pile of cash bishan bedi?

I am almost fully invested for once, otherwise I would have added a lot more when it dropped even though I already have a very considerable number of shares in CRU.

I expect great news and a much higher share price and a dividend to support it at around 20/25p for those that seek regular income.

This exuberant market is making me want to buy more of these. Currently trying to talk myself out of it

An "off" day - good excuse to drop the price...

base7, Just a little retracing before the next leg up, or the MM are trying to shake out a few weaker holders, hoping to pick up a bigger chunk of stock, or working it so JG can buy a bigger wedge at no higher than 13.5p as they dropped the price on so few sells it seems.

Some of the trades that look like sells were buys at 12.5p and one MM remained on offer at 12.5p

If shares are available at 13.5p or less I am sure JG would buy some more back-unless he has another acquisition lined up before our year end.
The revaluation of our Freehold will be interesting but I would estimate around £4mill, which would give a decent yield to the buyer & an excellent return for us .
Hopefully a positive trading update before 30/4 if another acquisition isnt announced

L2 looking very weak and out of interest I tried selling 2500 online and could not even get a quote. So if it retraces down a little and JG does not pick more up I may well do so.

Now the shares are slipping a little I wonder if JG will get the house broker to obtain more at up to 13.5p as previously paid.

I think the share price sat at 13/14p when the last 250k were acquired by the company to be held in treasury.

LOL charo we have no choice in the matter other than leave the party, which I have no intention of doing, as this is such great value as confirmed by JG.

Interesting thoughts and odds

I agree that within a year Haydock will be sold, as it is just a sound property business and not aligned with the rest of the company.

Then my money would go on number three, a RTO.

CT - here are what I see as the scenarios:
1) Sale of the Haydock property - odds on
2) Sale of one or both of the remaining subsidiaries - maybe 3 to 1 against
3) Takeover/reverse takeover - maybe 2 to 1
4) Buying some add-on businesses - evens
In my view it's still too small to go very far, so it would make sense to link up with a bigger player. As the saying goes, we shall see.

Well it seems JG is not adding to the shares held in treasury, as there has been little life in the stock since the last RNS.

I guess we will just have to wait until the next RNS either about acquisition, trading or results. You will recall that the last half year ones were produced rapidly after the release of the full year figures.

It is a bit surprising that we have not seen more small buys from folks adding to their ISA etc.

Clearly JG's house broker will not want to chase the price any higher and will be working to obtain what they can at the lowest possible level, if the company are still minded to add to the number already purchased, which as yet do not cover the options, which they would now wish to do, I expect, as they would rather not have more shares in the market at present.

I assume they want the price to go up and stay up and bar the usual ups and downs and wish to see dividend growth along with a steady long term rise in the share price as JG may have a heir in the waiting.

Thanks CT. Like you I don't understand wgy the price hasn't increased - unless as you say they are trying to buy in more of the shares....

temelco - in respect of the company buying its own shares, if there is a dividend of say .5p then effectively having shares in treasury reduces the overall payout, which in turn makes them even cheaper than the top price of 13.5p which JG has paid to date.
So bearing in mind that the options are at no less than 15p there is still room to obtain value at a higher price, if he were to start buying more.

One thing you can be sure of, is that JG will be wanting to reward stakeholders that stuck with the stock, while dividends were not being paid, and I guess he will also enjoy a decent return on his holding.

As regards, who is selling what, unless we see a RNS from the larger holders of a change of holding we can only guess - but the rules get ignored anyway and the whole pretence of regulation is nothing more than a cloak of pretence.

Also CT did you notice that Gyllenhammer shifted his 3.36% into his "personal" AB, meaning the remainder are in the original holder's name ( another Gyllenhammer entity) I don't think he sold any stock do you??

CT Think you would be better than me at the maths, but it seems to me that buying back those shares actually increases NAV around 1p per share? Could be completely wrong....
