11/11/2021 22:39 | Have taken some for a punt, the last update was early September so news must be due. If the JV proceeds the price will surge, if not downside will be limited given the current tiny £8m m/cap, they raised £2.25m in March at 33p so cash is no issue currently. | observer007
11/11/2021 20:19 | Surge of buys hitting the tape towards the close, leaky leaky one wonders ? | the_sage1
10/11/2021 17:30 | I came across Professor Conroy at a Mining Maven event 4 or 5 years ago where Conroy was presenting, in the audience was a major shareholder (who is now a AIM resource company director) he asked a ream of questions to Conroy about the company and implied it was time he should get moving or get out and let someone more agile move the company forward. In all the time I have been attending events I can honestly say I have never heard such a stubborn, vicious and dogmatic reply, he was brash and aggressive and determined to carry on regardless, that was made perfectly clear. There have been numerous attempts to remove him from his listed companies but he thwarts Shareholder Action Groups in every manner possible, he will happily issue more shares via placement to his chums and/or himself or via converting his loans into equity, thus reducing the aggressors voting position. One wonders if he really wants anyone other than himself and his family involved at Conroy Gold and his other companies, the answer, most likely, is no, that is why the JV looks like it may go the same way as Anglo Asian Mining, I simply cannot see Conroy working with Turks. It is time the Nomad intervened. The clock is ticking. | observer007
10/11/2021 16:13 | The greatest impediment to this company's progression is its projects - they are not viable. | diamond_mountain
10/11/2021 09:09 | Prof Conroy seems the greatest impediment to this companies progression. 2 JV chances & he's dithered & delayed for around 2 yrs now! Ridiculous way to manage a business professionally. Ignores shareholders letters too, which is never a good sign either. Resign Prof & let a professional get on with developing our valuable resource!!!! | source

09/11/2021 12:38 | Seems while there is nothing to say about CGNR some people have taken to discussing other companies. | diamond_mountain
08/11/2021 19:01 | This looks fine for now.... ANGS "What are the views of managment on the value of the company given its current prospects? Asked on 21 September 2021 We have argued recently for a sum of the parts valuation of nearer 3.5 pence. That may seem ambitous but at current spot and forward gas prices the cash generating potential of Saltfleetby has been grossly underestimated merely by virtue of the lapse of time snce the last CPR was done on Saltfleetby in early 2020 when the gas price was near an historic low. We are still confident of restoring value to the oil assets after the drilling results at Lidsey in 2017 and Brockham in 2018/19 and the difficulties with planning permissions at Balcombe. This process continues unabated, albeit in a slow or sometimes difficult regulatory and planning environment. Finally we believe that our venture into geothermal will come to form the greater part of the Sum of the Parts of Angus in the future and will meet with a more enthusiastic response from all stakeholders – regulatory, planning, financing and others." | davemarn
08/11/2021 14:40 | For what it is worth I contacted the Nomad (their names are on the RNS's) on the 26th October suggesting they happily signed off the 'advanced stage' statement on September 1st, the exact statement below ... 'Definitive agreements for proposed joint venture with Demir Export A.S. at an advanced stage' I suggested that circa 2 months later cannot be considered an 'advanced stage' and asked if Conroy could update the market on exactly what was going on. Needless to say I had no reply from either of the named persons, no doubt there were buyers of the stock on the day of that announcement who feel mislead. Poor form on Allenby IMO. | the_sage1
03/11/2021 12:46 | Just hoping Demir and CGNR get their ARS into gear here soon | robemy
03/11/2021 08:05 | So ARS have finally secured a meaningful JV partner for their copper project, their shareholders have been played around by management for years. Interesting there appeared to be no leaks either. Conroy Gold next to conclude, worth a punt at current levels, probably ! | m1sterx
01/11/2021 20:27 | I wonder what the rampers do when the facts prevail... there haven't been any £4 price predictions on here for a while, perhaps the faithful are feeling nervous...? A little circumspect, perhaps? In fairness, they haven't been given a lot to work with in the two months since the last announcement. | diamond_mountain

28/10/2021 23:08 | Yes that's right D_M, the CBI - and certainly not the Confederation of British Industry at that. My point being, if you take the time to DYO proper and diligent R, you will see various "oddities" with Conroy's outfits both here and in Finland throughout the decades. Have you been invested here long? Interesting on Turkey chysos, thanks. | dadoconconcon dadoconcon
27/10/2021 19:05 | Turkey picking a fight with the US, Germany and France, and by extension the entire EU and inviting sanctions probably won't help matters. The Koç family are closely tied to Erdogan/the military by all accounts, although it's a fraught relationship... hxxps://boycott-turk | chrysos
27/10/2021 08:41 | In that case it would be the Central Bank of Ireland that is the regulating authority, CGNR being an Irish registered company. You'd only contact them if you think there's been financial impropriety, though, such as insider trading or gross governance failures. Not sure intransigence over a JV deal or overhyping projects would be CBI matters. | diamond_mountain
27/10/2021 02:20 | Indeed even the FCA, D_M 😄 | dadoconconcon dadoconcon
26/10/2021 18:18 | RBonnier - there's only one problem here, and that's the projects. | diamond_mountain
26/10/2021 18:16 | I'm sure the FSA (Food Standards Agency) would have some interesting comments on this mince. | diamond_mountain
26/10/2021 16:55 | Make more sense to contact the FSA, in my humble. | dadoconconcon dadoconcon
26/10/2021 15:47 | Has anyone considered contacting the Nomad seeking a update from CGNR, how can they allow old Conroy to put out the 1st Sept RNS suggesting the process was at an advanced stage yet 8 weeks later nothing? | m1sterx
26/10/2021 15:34 | What's going on here apart from nothing is this Demir JV about to fall through aswell now as it's taking a very long time I wonder what problems they've run into now . | rbonnier |
