So is that £30k worth of MM shorting in open market done so far today or does anyone believe a Pi would be selling £30k worth of shares with a JV agreed . Not that it bothers me I'm waiting for these far to large for PI sell trades to end before I top up .

I wouldn't pretend to know what motivates Demir's decisions. They are a private company that no-one had heard of before last February. They are certainly not a "major" company. Their financial and technical capabilities are unknown quantities. I believe this is their first, or at least one of very few, overseas ventures. I therefore don't subscribe to the theory that if Demir think it's great, it must be great. They have decided to fund the project so clearly see value in it and that is certainly good news for Conroy. But an investment by a third party does not of itself derisk a mining project. All the work still has to be done. There are some fine examples where even major companies have invested hundreds of millions in projects that have turned out to be duds.

Of all the small mining stocks to do a JV with then why did Demir pick Conroy? Did they just pick a name out of a hat or did they think it offers a great opportunity? Wouldn't their geologists have taken a close look at all the data available over the many years Conroy have held these licences? I think the people selling are idiots but that is the reality and is obviously exploited by those who wish to see the price sink right down again.

One certainty is that Mr Conroy will be looking after Mr Conroy, come what may, regardless that this speculation might be a long way from becoming some sort of producer.

Sure Swing, I agree the JV is worth something which is why the share price is up from 10p since July 2020. Without the JV it would still be down there, or worse.
I also agree it is worth basing value on a company's announcements, and one's interpretation of them. Which is why statements like "Its ‘almost’ a dead cert this will move to production." are fair game to be challenged.
Eyes open.

...... I've read posts like yours before . Negative to the core then on a fabricated XTR , RNS claiming 10 times more gold in the outcrops rocketed the share price by 278% within 2 hours . Nothing to do with the outcrops having very little ore just the gold concentrate was 10 times higher . In my opinion a Market Maker or two had closed their shorts at the same time .....

AIM is what it is a poker game with the dealer playing with a marked deck until you accept that then your a loser . Then you can develop your own strategy to set about beating the MM's at their own game . Always worth using RNS's rather than bulletin board to check out fundamental values of any company . With CGNR having a JV in the bag that is worth something but hey ho the MM's will cater for the big players somehow .

I think CGNR is being shorted by the Market Makers to fill a large order . Until it's filled the share price will drift lower even though I have shares with an average share price of 37p each I'd be happy to double up when the drift stops but then who knows when that will be .

In the mean time I'm just watching the sells which I interpret to be MM's closing their short in open market to fill their order / short ........ Yep , we all read market signs differently but the fundamentals of CGNR are rock solid meaning MM manipulation won't last forever .

Its 'almost' a dead cert this will move to production. A Fortune 500 company will not spend this much time and effort on a deal if they havent done there due diligence on licenses etc.... I have no doubt the share price will start moving off support in the next session or 2. The market really isnt valuing this correctly. Once it turns it will go on a nice run north.

The transfer of licences is not a big deal. That process kicked off some time ago. It totally defies logic that the share price is so low.

The JV remains conditional on the necessary regulatory consents being granted
in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for the transfer of the
licences to the respective joint venture companies that have been established
under the JV.
Perhaps this is putting investors off? No JV until two countries sign off!

Absolute bargain. Keeps getting better except for the fact I've got no money to buy more. This is one of the stupidest share prices you will find on the stock market. Normally they are stupidly overvalued but this is stupidly undervalued. How can you be valued at £12m when a major company like Demir has spent most of the year assessing the value and decided to proceed with a JV? A JV on very generous terms for CGNR too.

It's the old sell on news scenario. Short lived sell off, lots of small sells but chunky buys in the background. Will see a steady rise from here I suspect.

with all the news in the last month I felt a retrace was going to happen . Which is normal for any upcoming stock hence back in with an average share price of 37p/share now . When next news arrives I'm sure the Market Makers will gap up above the 50p warrant price announcing they have been executed with money going into CGNR coffers . Yep , the stock market is a strange world full of many mysteries but then the MM's have to cater for everyone .
