27/11/2015 09:47 | when I say board I am talking about the cgnr board not this board. | newprom
27/11/2015 09:23 | Cynical.Do I think this is a bargain share with great prospects? Yes....Do I think there is a concerted negative campaign on this board by people with supposedly no interest? Yes....Do I think the board deserves fair criticism? Yes very much so. | newprom
27/11/2015 08:14 | now you are starting to get it........ : ) | thecynical1
26/11/2015 22:09 | Latest rns suggests payback in 2 years which suggests lower cost of production and also the prof confirms a high level of profit on present gold price. This should be better explained so as to leave no doubt in peoples minds. But the statements saying that are there. | newprom
26/11/2015 00:36 | anybody in WRES? excellent RNS intraday today which not many have seen. Zakmir interviewing the CEO tomorrow i recalled, AFPO issued stellar RNS and down on that day, only to move 400% up over 2 weeks after that. i can see WRES is the next AFPO... as sellers out of the way and more stellar news due here shortly, this can slowly achieved the target by CEO at 3p. after all, CEO himself have large holding in here, around 25% | gavinbell
25/11/2015 23:44 | Recent results give an accelerated payback period of 2 years, this would surely take into account all recent factors including lower gold price,I would imagine.I dont think it refers to the old figure of $1372 an ounce. It makes no mention of the old calculation.I believe costs are now lower. | newprom
25/11/2015 23:05 | Would think that would be the way they want to progress.Maybe I am an optimist but I expect the gold price to go much higher.Obviously this is not the safest share but look at the market cap and weigh up the risk. Some will see great value and others will not like the risk.I am in the great value camp but can see why others dont see this. | newprom
25/11/2015 12:47 | JV on the cards.Risk to reward plenty to be positive about. | newprom
25/11/2015 12:42 | the failure to JV suggests otherwise. | 4marlin
25/11/2015 12:40 | Marlin. You have got it right we do have hope.We also have some risk, but that is more than in the price.Reasons to be positive in that we may have a crunch point coming that could transform things.I think that certain people on this board are creating the negativity out of bitterness .The reality is that on just 20% of clontibret a mine would return investment in just 2 years and that takes no account of the other areas. | newprom
25/11/2015 11:45 | all these rather childish 'to and fro' attacks just detract.... The fact is that this company is in a truly dire position with no near-term positive prospects. Or longer term I suspect. All that remains is hope; not a good basis to invest on. | 4marlin
25/11/2015 08:15 | Just remembered,it was "Drat and doubledrat".But you would know that as you have said it was one of your favourite shows. | newprom
24/11/2015 14:37 | "Doubledrat" in actual fact. | newprom
24/11/2015 14:01 | newprom.... : ) | thecynical1
24/11/2015 11:05 | mindng....keeping the lights on......more like, keeping the fees flowing.....jmo! | thecynical1
24/11/2015 11:04 | newprom.....don't you mean "drat"...... LOL! | thecynical1
24/11/2015 10:42 | nearly......Damn!!!! | newprom
24/11/2015 10:40 | Goldeneye - i think you are dreaming. If a deal was to be done, it would have been announced with the consolidation. This is more like a drowning rat taking a last gasp for air... Consolidation is necessary to raise money to pay the professor his wages. | j0no5
24/11/2015 07:23 | 6998.......classic.. | thecynical1
23/11/2015 22:37 | From today's RNS announcement: "In addition, it is the Board's view that the increased share price, which the Directors expect will result from the Capital Reorganisation will be more attractive to a greater number of investors." Or, in nice plain english: It is rather hard to convince investors to part with their cash for sub penny shares with a track record like ours for value destruction, so the consolidation makes it a bit harder for new potential investors to understand what my have happened over a long time period. With a bit of luck, new investors will think that we listed at 20p and now we are 40p, even though our market capitalisation is actually no different. We don't regard this as smoke and mirrors, just a response to the reality that when your share price is a fraction of a penny, it's hard to convince investors that you are still worth backing. Apart from one lovely chap known as newprom. | craffert |
