18/11/2015 13:19 | Venomousviper.I have looked up your very infrequent posts.Very interesting to see you invested in northern rock in 2007 at 485p.Bad timing but, dont get the timing wrong on this one,it could cost you dear.Well worth investing now. | newprom
18/11/2015 13:12 | 0.2p would be a market cap of only 800,000 pounds. This is a great investment at a market cap of 2 million.Crunch time coming so I wouldnt be waiting to invest too long as you will have missed the boat. | newprom
18/11/2015 11:36 | Im looking for sub 0.2p to have a punt at that level its either the receivers and lose the lot a share recap lose pretty much the lot or some very good news like a JV or an MBO = Quids in - Place your Bets Please ! | venomousviper
17/11/2015 21:33 | Mineng: Perhaps a combined entity would have had a board with a truly independent remuneration committee who would consider fees and salaries in the context of available funds / market cap / future funding needs. | craffert
17/11/2015 15:45 | It would have been too dilutive for all shareholders, and off course the prof himself. But I can see why he didn't go in that direction in fairness to him. Prof will tie up with a major, that is the way this will go. Prof will then take a back seat. Hopefully soon! | goldeneye5
17/11/2015 14:20 | Kenglo One walked after not getting the prof to move in the direction they wanted (merge with galantas), which would not have been in shareholder interest. pageant, I don't know what happened, but can't blame them for moving on....time is money etc. Did Pagaent and Capvest/S Fitz cross paths somewhere, think they may have, I can't remember, probably not relevant . | goldeneye5
17/11/2015 12:15 | I actually did extremely well: and was in at the bottom of CEY, for example. Massive multi-bag. TW called gold upto 2000 and more - for which he deserves to be castigated. For eg. he called people selling SHG @ 40p fools. It is probably a buy today. However, this board is about CGNR and, as previously stated, my error was in believing the professor. I did, unlike you, see the light and sold massively at the time. For a very long time the bears have been right here, there is no JV or salvation in sight, Pageant and Kenglo walked, financial position precarious, share price decimated. Bulls here have proved that it is they that cannot filter good companies from bad. | 4marlin
17/11/2015 11:21 | sleveen, FY results will be interesting. The financial position of this company is, imo, very precarious presently. | 4marlin
17/11/2015 10:58 | Makes a change from watching the dastardly and muttley show! | newprom
17/11/2015 09:31 | Goldeneye.Very interesting what you said about Cynical.Certainly makes you wonder? | newprom
17/11/2015 08:53 | The financial position of this comapant is untenable. At the interims there was E520k current assets verses E1.8m current liabilities. Negative E1.3m how will that be paid? A massive placing? FY results due to be published by the end of November. Will they ever be published? | sleveen
17/11/2015 00:12 | As for o'sullivan the other investor in cgnr, I believe he is a very successful businessman in Dublin, Dublin Toy Fair, Property, Storm Cinema's...... A bit of an enigma, but a welcome investor nonetheless. | goldeneye5
17/11/2015 00:04 | Thecynical1/craffert | goldeneye5
16/11/2015 23:19 | newprom - what you don't seem to realise is that crunch time is indeed very close - it's when funding isn't forthcoming and administrators are being appointed. PS My appalling record: Status Quo Twelve Gold Bars. | craffert
16/11/2015 22:37 | This could be a serious multibagger on joint venture. It is viable at present gold prices and an absolute no brainer with any kind of rise in the goldprice, which in my opinion is more than likely in the near future.I believe crunch time is very close.Risk to reward this stands out as a great play. | newprom
16/11/2015 22:10 | I dont know who is the most ridiculous, Cynical with his contradictory statements or you with your appalling record! Please be very careful if you are listening to this pair of derampers as they are bitter individuals with an axe to grind because they both invested at the wrong time.If you ask them why they invested when there was so much to prove and so much to spend and with so much risk, they will not answer. | newprom
16/11/2015 22:05 | You would be the last person on this earth that should be giving advice on investment with your appalling record. Is it not true that you have given just 2 share tips on this bulletin board and both lost around 90% of their value within 2 months of your reccomendation. How could your record be any poorer? That really takes some doing!!! | newprom
16/11/2015 21:05 | If this isn't taken private by the Prof then that would only show us that: (1) he can't raise the cash this time from new investors and (2) he doesn't have the mulla himself and (3) he has failed to find any JV partner to fund the project to first gold. With the conceptual NPV now shot to bits by the low gold price, this is now a dead duck at £1.86mn market cap. In my opinion, there are plenty of gold juniors who are producing, or on the cusp of producing, are funded, and who can offer true gold price upside but also from a low market cap. CGNR is just a gamblers punt on a miracle now. No point in being right on the price of gold, only to find that your horse had to pull out of the race before it even started. | craffert |
