14/10/2015 20:01 | Cynical. We were talking immediate expenditure and you stated that they needed to spend money on a processing plant.Really intelligent would you not say? The gold price will obviously benefit cgnr more because it is so lowly rated at about 2 million pounds.A rise in gold prices could make cgnr a no brainer for a partner which would multibag the share price immediately . You are so lacking in any thought if you cannot see why it would be so beneficial to cgnr. | newprom
14/10/2015 19:59 | they need to get it out of the ground economically and in commercial quantities.......... | thecynical1
14/10/2015 19:51 | why will a higher gold price benefit CGNR more than most gold companies???? another astonishingly vacant statement........an increased gold price will benefit those that are producing........not those that have been pfaffing around talking for years......get real! | thecynical1
14/10/2015 13:05 | Thats what investing is all about.Evaluating risk, price and chance. In my opinion this is a high reward play but obviously some risk. With a higher gold price the risk greatly recedes. | newprom
14/10/2015 12:55 | Bear in mind that the deposit is low grade. Also, do not think that planning permission is a shoo-in because it will not be. In my opinion, there are much much better bets out there with high-grade exploration upside. | 4marlin
14/10/2015 12:37 | You may not like the company or the professor but it is difficult to deny that with a higher gold price cgnr stands to benefit much more than most gold companies. It would make cgnr assets very valuable, especially in such a friendly jurisdiction. There are more certain gold plays but the rewards would not be as great. | newprom
14/10/2015 12:23 | Some questions to mull over. Can the major economies of the world keep running up debt indefinitely? What happens if they cant pay back? Can they keep printing money? What would happen to the gold price? If the gold price went up what would be cgnr worth with production? How many times would cgnr multibag? | newprom
14/10/2015 12:11 | This will bounce back up.Only at this level due to people losing faith due to the wait.Fundamentals dictate a far higher price. The price is now completely out of kilter with what is happening, in my opinion now is the right time to buy.Derampers love to talk rubbish . | newprom
14/10/2015 11:34 | Bid heading for 0.25 I think its all over for current holders | rbonnier
14/10/2015 11:02 | regular progress reports wouldn't go amiss either. Informing shareholders of what value is being generated from the massive directors fees!! I totally agree with 4marlin - "Remuneration v total spend/exploration spend/whatever is totally out of kilter. Quite disgusting and morally repugnant." | j0no5
14/10/2015 09:05 | Certainly a big case for a reduction in directors remuneration ,I would agree. | newprom
14/10/2015 08:52 | It does not matter how one looks at it: Remuneration v total spend/exploration spend/whatever is totally out of kilter. Quite disgusting and morally repugnant. | 4marlin
13/10/2015 22:45 | Let's try facts folks. 2014 accounts: Operating expenses were €1,039k Of which Directors total remuneration was €638k (61% of operating expenses) Tangible Fixed Asset additions (usually a good sign of progress) €5k I also noticed that they capitalise a big wedge of operating expenses (€665k) to the Balance Sheet, which makes the loss for 2014 look much less than it would otherwise have been. That's one way of making the Balance Sheet look busy and solvent, but it's aggressive accounting, particularly capitalising salaries. No ulterior agenda, but IMHO the salaries are too high relative to market cap. When it comes to this share, the penny truly has dropped (by half.) | craffert
13/10/2015 15:17 | Cynical.Lets look at your last few posts. We can take it that you dont want to spend money on salaries but you do want to build a processing plant! jeez....just glad you dont run the company!!! | newprom
13/10/2015 14:48 | Cynical. You could put your brain into gear before coming out with statements such as ....they need to build a processing plant.....what, right now!...in the next few months???....Cynical your deramping is getting even more ridiculous!! | newprom
13/10/2015 14:16 | newprom - I am not sure what makes you so optimistic.......in case you hadn't noticed, the share price is a fraction of the nominal share price.....so funding at this point is going to be interesting......... | thecynical1
13/10/2015 14:14 | jono....glad to hear that progress is being made on the golf front......maybe they'll abandon plans to produce gold and build a golf complex.....? | thecynical1
13/10/2015 14:12 | little in the way of equipment required.......that' | thecynical1
13/10/2015 13:26 | Marlin.I listen to your points. In many ways it has not gone to the script but think we are arriving at a crunch point, which is what we all need to get things to happen. | newprom
13/10/2015 13:18 | newprom: I may be totally wrong and that there is a vast amount of work going on behind the scenes but that is not my view. The lights and salaries are being paid...but that is about all imo. 3 or 4 yrs ago the prof told me the mine ought to be up and running in 2016. It is something he has been saying for about 15 yrs now. We do not even have any permits or planning permission......but, we do have a project or mine manager, or something like that. Seriously far out. | 4marlin
13/10/2015 12:58 | they have enough infill drilling to do to see the prof good for the rest of his life, no need for retirement. i heard the professors golf is on top form ATM, that's the only progress being made here! this share would be much more amusing if i weren't a shareholder!! | j0no5
13/10/2015 12:48 | Marlin. The last time they announced drill results you were very surprised as you thought they were not doing anything. Is that not right? So it is patently clear you are not in the loop.Would you not agree? | newprom
13/10/2015 12:16 | Newprom: I think the pertinent question is how far have they got with salaries? Almost nothing is being done. On life support. The warning (one of many) was Pageant leaving. | 4marlin |
