22/8/2021 23:16 | The fact that a CFO who has spent the last 2 years well remunerated at Calibre has moved to Condor where his remuneration will be mostly in share options is a massive vote of confidence in Condor. Excellent news which hopefully the market will take notice of in the morning. He will be in place when the new report and valuation is issued next month which should be a trigger for a serious rerate and/or a bid. | 888icb

22/8/2021 19:20 | We were after a COO and a mining engineer, wasn't aware we were after a CFO. Certainly looks strategic to me, I see he has already been replaced (interim) on Calibre website. | aleoap

22/8/2021 17:50 | I will be staggered if there's a toll deal TBH. | connect5
22/8/2021 17:13 | Check out lse bb Tomorrow rns in regards a new key appointment (financial officer). Imho it sounds like a handshake btw calibre and cnr, with a toll deal in the near future, and very possibly a sell to calibre in the long term. I hope we are not sold. This should open options | book5
22/8/2021 08:46 | Tragic loss for his family and RIP. How lucky we are in UK and Europe to have (despite all criticism) a working healthcare system. As I am currently not invested (so I have no business interest, but just curiosity) I think I might ask whether this was the man for whom MC used explicit language in one of the last weninars? | oldiegoldie

21/8/2021 11:42 | Very sad to hear about Medardo and all the other victims. It unfortunately brings back into focus the horrendous impact of this Covid-19 epidemic that is still destroying lives and families around the world. We are truly blessed to be living in the UK! I hope the people there are able to receive their vaccines soon! | connect5
20/8/2021 20:59 | Good evening all, Miguel has not made it, another victim of covid-delta variant, he was treated in a hospital in Leon. His brother will carry on working with the mills. During this week, there has been at least another victim in a close village, people suspect it was covid. They buried her before the results of the analysis arrived. I know that Spain has been sending vaccines to Nicaragua. One of the drilling rigs at the India is being dis-assembled; with the other one they will finish the last two drills of the geotechnical drilling necessary to determine the slope of the pits. Over there, a large majority of the people need to carry on working despite the pandemic. Many locals are happy with our current Nicaraguan boss and hope we will not change him, this is good! I have received a photo of the excavations, but it is not very good. Some excavations can be seen at the end of the new road from the distance. regards B. | book5
20/8/2021 20:55 | imho: A construction permit allows only to build, it does not allow to mine. A permit to mine would allow both, to build, and to mine. Latest cnr's reports may clarify the above | book5
20/8/2021 15:22 | I thought it was Condor’s position that they had the mining permit because the Government hadn’t objected to something they submitted within a particular timeline. They had been told to do this by Government officials. Am I remembering that correctly? | 888icb
20/8/2021 13:22 | For what I heard $6000 x around 200 associates makes $1.2million, but they could accept far less depending on the negotiations . Land for land, and cash is what they asked for. This is around 25% of all has been paid so far for a relatively small piece of land ( though very significant as it is currently used for miners and apparently it is a long and narrow strip of land) that is at the heart of the veins. We have all the drilling done, so hopefully negotiations could start soon bcs we know how much gold is in the first 35m. There were rumors negotiations will start after we have the drilling results, so far I have heard nothing more. Imho due safety considerations We cant toll mine from la india till we own all land, ie till we receive the mining permit. However , If we want, we could toll mine from la mestiza when we finish a significant % of the drilling, i.e. anytime now...but perhaps, most probably, it will be closer to Christmas?? There are not miners on la Mestiza, but there may be some miners close to la Mestiza. I hope to see a rocket under the share price in the non distance future Sp is doing ok Gla | book5
20/8/2021 11:46 | I have just reeived Condor magazine (La Voz de La India) with details of our social projects at the surrounding communities. It is in pdf format, and anybody can subscribe to it. It is in Spanish. Very good. I have sent it to some locals. | book5
20/8/2021 07:33 | Nor me but it seems strange that palentir and peter thiel would be getting into old school gold. Surely their future lies in arbitraging NFT's of adorable cats or maybe paint splodges in the metaverse. | diggybee
20/8/2021 07:25 | IMO - seems to me that those who used to dabble in precious metal specs, are seeing that Bitcoin offers far far better rewards at the moment. That plus the Fed continuing to fool the financial markets everywhere, and with gold so far showing lower lows and lower highs, hardly inspire confidence. I'm just not clever or fearless enough to get into Bitcoin. | corrientes
