If central monetary authorities in many countries are printing money like there's no tomorrow, and effectively buying their own debt, with no hope of repayment, because there isn't a cat's chance in hell that tax will cover this, to me anyway that's a catastrophe waiting to happen. Currencies will be devalued, leading to much higher prices for everything.

PS I hope you're right, and I'm wrong !

Off topic, but we will not get hyperinflation (means 1000+ % per week), thats total rubbish.

We will probably get slightly higher inflation of maybe 2-5% combined with slightly rising interest rates.

My narrative with CNR was never to rely on a goldmarket hyperventilation, but to an individual conpany which looked promising a while ago

Despite the talk in some quarters about a mining boom being upon us, and not seen for quite a few years now, this part of the market remains flat. You can see this with several companies which are seemingly massively undervalued according to the financial gurus. Good news is usually ignored for the most part, and bad news means a hammering.

Despite being much further down the road now, nothing is happening to the CNR share price. I feel that until sentiment changes and the herd instinct returns, if ever, we won't being seeing this 'blue sky'. My concern would be buying this company on the cheap in this environment, after all the hard graft has been done.

Still gold should retain its allure despite attempts by central authorities in the West to suppress the price. If we do get this hyperinflation, then the sky's the limit here, that is if life will still be worth living LOL. ! AIMO.

Last nights presentation was good putting across all the latest developments that were in the RNS and Mark dealt well with the questions. It’s a good story about a project that is moving towards production as fast as it can and the currently permitted 675000 ozs is worth $1.2 Billion at today’s price. So imagine what 5 million ozs is worth at a higher gold price. We just need more people to listen to the story and start buying.

My question about the cooperative's land was not passed to MC.
I asked when the negotiations will start.

My explanation.
From memory, after second reading:the grade from 0m to 44m, is only around 0.45gr/tn? Is this economic?
Average grade goes up to around 1.90gr/tn bcs below 44m grade is very high but this is beyond initial pits depth.
we need to know the cut off level (min gr/tn) in surface ore to be economical to extract. Lots of number crunching, we are scraching the barrel for more gold.
Lets see what the numbers say , EPAs are coming soon, then the "probable" caveat will go away

It is difficult to understand that in the face of these excellent results that would have set the share price of an early stage explorer alight we have seen just 12 trades and volume of 116000. Mark has delivered the 6 weeks of strong news flow that he promised but the PI’s are just not responding.
It is clear that Mark must now focus on putting all this gold and the economics of this project in front of people who will understand its significance. That means potential bidders need to be focused on, which actually I believe has been Mark’s intention all along. He has enough drilling to support his view that we have 5 million ozs of high grade gold that can be extracted at low cost by industry standards. Now is the time for that sale as it will remove the requirement to finance the mine and the dilution that would involve. Mark has a great story to tell at today’s presentation.

Mark Child, Chairman and CEO commented:

"The high grade, wide, drill assay results between the two La India Starter Pits are a positive surprise as this area was previously interpreted as a lower grade zone within the main fully permitted La India open pit. LIDC452 returned 60.60 m (54.5 m true width) at 1.98 g/t gold from 4.15 m drill depth, including 5.75 m (5.2 m true width) at 16.88 g/t gold. Mine schedules will be re-run to determine whether the two Starter Pits can be amalgamated into one Starter Pit and thus provide additional high grade mill feed from surface. Furthermore, the broad zone of mineralization is likely to reduce the overall strip ratio for the main La India open pit, as there is more mineralized gold tonnage verses waste rock, thus potentially improving the Project's economics.

The drill results strengthen the case for expanding the Starter Pits, which are within 35 m of the surface and contain approximately 455Kt at 4.17g/t gold for 59,674 oz gold using a 2.00g/t cut off grade. The intention is to mine the Starter Pits early to quicken the payback period. The Starter Pits sit within the main fully permitted La India open pit, which has a Mineral Reserve Estimate of 6.9Mt at 3.1 g/t gold for 675,000 oz gold".

More gold, higher grades and improved project economics. Let’s see if the market and or potential bidders are impressed with these results because they most definitely should be!

An excellent RNS just in time for tonight’s presentation
Highlights of New Drill Assay Results

· 60.60 m (54.5 m true width) at 1.98 g/t gold from 4.15 m drill depth, including 5.75 m (5.2 m true width) at 16.88 g/t gold from 42.55 m drill depth in drill hole LIDC452 located between the two proposed starter pits.

· The wide zone of gold mineralization near surface has the potential to reduce the strip ratio in this area due to the increase in gold mineralized tonnage verse waste rock, thus improving Project economics.

· 3.75 m (3.4 m true width) at 9.94 g/t gold from the hanging wall of the historic mine workings in drill hole LIDC454 located between the two starter pits.

· Potential to amalgamate the two Starter Pits into a single, larger Starter Pit as a broad zone of high grade gold mineralization was previously interpreted as a low grade zone with the main La India open pit.

· 9.00 m (8.5 m true width) amalgamated width at 4.98 g/t gold from 55.05 m drill depth in the hangingwall and footwall of the historic mine workings, including 5.35 m (5.0 m true width) at 6.61 g/t in the hangingwall of drill hole LIDC456. This drill intercept is located to the south and below the Southern Starter Pit.

Good rns

These results will be incorporated into a revised feasibility-level mine plan and are expected to have a positive impact on the Project's economics.

I like the word "expected"
Some areas 16gr/tn sound very good. tough no bonanza grades...yet

I like we found more unexpected resources, may this continue in la mestiza. :)

I dream this week we go up to 50p

Good new article about Nicaragua in bnamericas, saying it is mining friendly. I don't know about the politics of the country, but Calibre Mining of Canada doesn't seem to have any problems with its El Limon and La Libertad mines. It may be that this larger company, has more clout than CNR.

Few believe in the CNR story anyway, and although everything seems, prima facie, to be going in the right direction, I get the feeling there's something missing here.

IMO, it is quite possible that with a new broom sweeping clean, the only practical solution would be for a takeover by another producing company already in Nicaragua, after CNR has gone as far as it can. Would the CNR shareholders be ripped off ? Haven't a clue, but have seen this time and time again over the years.

I am not selling. I did not know about the cooperative till I had too many of these. The national tv channel news' video made it clear : they want land for land..
Question for me is what is this worth if liquidated?
We own mestiza (from memory some infill drilling goes beyond 100m depth, so reserves will be of good quality), and we own an additional 500sqkm of concessions.
I hope we are worth more than today closing price. No point selling.
Some suggest this is worth much more bcs this is a walk in the park,...I believe by early next year all cards will be on the table for all to see, by then we should know.
There could be good news on the pipeline.
I dream very soon we could have a rns saying we found bonanza grades in la india....
Gla for tomorrow presentation

book5 - Reading between the lines of your posts over the last 6 months you seem to have gone from a positive to a negative trend -

Message received by this investor is that the odds are now tilted in favour of selling and salvaging what we can - Or is this putting a too negative spin on your posts?

Imho if we dont give away la mestiza, we will explote it via a toll mining deal, to finance further drilling to find more resources.
This could be even riskier if we do not find land that the miners want, then we will not be able to mine la india.

Never.
It is what he has been asked for.
Only MC has said is that the asking price is high.
I know the asking prices of two of the three remaining propeties. I dont know the asking price of the 50x20m lot.
