Artisanal miners have been working with permits issued by condor, nothing illigal.
For the miners to enter to cnr land they need to pass through cnr guards and security gate.
Permits have not been renewed, all need to leave. Subsequent meetings have been taken place with the miners to counsell them.
Imho this is very significant as no building will be built at the mestiza that requires removing so early the miners, so imho the reason must be either:
- we will start mining operations sooner (toll mining).
Or
- we are planning to sell the whole lot.

Cnr is very careful about removing jobs. Imho it is very significand than on the last 3 properties we need to buy, miners or mills are working on them. I just wonder if we are delaying in purpose the purchase of these properties till we create more jobs?

So if cnr is so cautious about jobs, why did we ask the miners around la mestiza and la india to leave? Our plant will not be ready in 24 months , so why the hurry? Stripping does not take so long.

Hopefully till we have a toll mining deal once miners leave the land around la mestiza. There must be a reason why cnr gave them 6 months notice

Q2G you were spot on, hopefully your second prediction , JM buying from today, comes also true.
We had 3 Million at the end of June.
"We are on target", but a target need timelines....
overall a positive rns, no nasty surprises on it, and shows continuity,
i would love a 20% up today :)

All I really want to know is whether the head of the B of D is really just another conman, and if so, leading a bunch of fools (me included). What is his pay entitlement ? If bad news, how long can he keep this up ?

The background to the lower share price in all probability might just be attributable to the gold price amidst uncertainty, just like with a lot of other gold shares. Now if the gold price was going up, I just wonder whether the + points would be accentuated here, and I can't for a moment imagine the share price would be going down in that scenario.

It is easy for the - points to score at the moment, as it seems nobody has a clue about the end game, except we know that money is being spent on development which must count for something ??? IMO the present movement is as much to do with sentiment, pouncing on the delay, as to do with anything else. It's been told, time and time again ; fear equals capitulation, but quite often that fear turns into euphoria, but then maybe that's too strong a word in the case of CNR !

Deramping traders out in force today. Not very subtle but I just hope you get your fingers burned for a few pence. Whatever floats your boat. If I was Rio I would instruct Calibre to make a cheeky bid at this level as clearly they aren’t concerned about political risk.

Jim's bought on the day of results and more shortly after for last 2 years. Assume he will keep the trend going. Political situation already in the price in my opinion. Will they bring forward results to this week? Maybe. Mestiza results due (high grade).

Sanctions could hit the gold industry
In 2018 Trump did that to Venezuela , I read Venezuela uses nicaragua to smuggle gold.
This could be a battle with foreing powers and we are pawns
Imho If directors buy in open market that could be a sign to add more. Knock, knock anyone director there?

As I said, I disclosed my main buys/sells with 1 or 2 days delay in this very BB.
@sherwood my peak holding was about 3M shares in early 2020.
