19/7/2021 11:28 | Your story is not too dissimilar to mine although you were invested for 5 years more. The stress has been unbelievable at times and I also risked buying around 20p to average down as well. Unfortunately for me break even is early fifties and the loss would be the price of a car. I too would love to be able to treat myself to a similar toy and hope this comes good. Anyway enjoy the car. | connect5
19/7/2021 11:24 | yes, I bought in at very high price in 2006/2007 and managed to dilute over many years with a lot of buying around 20-25p, which was extremely risky and made my total holdings unreasonably large, but brought me down to an average of ca. 47p. I am very lucky that I minimised the damage and I now got out. Selling this share quite improved my wellbeing :-) In order to compensate for CNR stress and anger I preordered the new Lotus Emira last week. | oldiegoldie
19/7/2021 10:46 | Wow that's a long time to have been holding here. Well done to you to have managed to exit with a profit albeit small. | connect5
19/7/2021 09:57 | Sold out completely last week and today morning. I will eventually buy back in a few months after the elections, in case CNR is not forjudged by then. It was hars for me selling out, after more than 15 years with this share. Still made a minimal profit... I think many of you are too emotionally attached to this share, like I was for many years. Mark is a good chap, and he gave his best. CNR missed a toll milling window of opportunity ca 1,5 to 2 years ago; that would have been the last chance to accelerate. Now the political wind bot on micro and on macro level seems to be turning. Again, ATB and I will still celebrate with you if I will eventually be proven wrong | oldiegoldie
19/7/2021 08:01 | I heard the drilling keeps progressing as expected. these days there are not many news coming from the locals, it seems all is ok and peaceful. It appears that in Nicaragua covid continues spreading around. | book5

12/7/2021 15:11 | This week the pendulum on its way up, may it continue to 70p. | book5
12/7/2021 11:53 | Hi Sir, I concur that seems to be the case. In the future, once production starts, we could adapt if required bcs we would make even more money if they were to be re-settled. Regards B. | book5
12/7/2021 11:27 | The villagers did not want to be re-settled, that is why CNR plans changed to the current ones. Whilst I can accept peoples minds can be changed I simply do not believe enough of them now want to be re-settled after fighting to remain where they are previously. | sir andrew ffoulkes
12/7/2021 10:36 | I agree, there are hidden agendas in all stakeholders. What I hear from all stakeholders I need to take with a pitch of salt. Check kitco what has just happened in honduras with Aura (TSX: ORA , gold copper miner ) and the locals. My point is that they could turn against us, and I would prefer if they were relocated with goverment help. It seems cnr and u do not want the delay. I would sleep easier if they were relocated, I do not fully trust the whole situation (ie locals) is under control. But I carry on with my investment. Hopefully all will be ok. | book5
12/7/2021 10:26 | I think the problem is that you can become too close to local gossip, that may serve particular agendas and perhaps lose sight of the bigger picture at regional, governmental and country level. What Jose and Miguel might say down the local bar doesn't always have any real meaning for us, perhaps occasionally but certainly not always of relevance | sir andrew ffoulkes
12/7/2021 10:17 | Exactly Sir Andrew. I am pleased to see book5 has now changed his tune and not for the first time. He should have conducted his survey before setting hares running on this bb. | 888icb
12/7/2021 09:32 | The reason CNR have taken so long about things was re-settlement, it's an issue dealt with years ago. | sir andrew ffoulkes
11/7/2021 07:42 | HI all, I have been doing a small survey. The result is that it seems that the locals are not overconcerned about the noise, and they have heard nothing about resettlement. This result surprised me. It seems all is ok with CNR, and the surrounding villages. Regards B. | book5 |
