03/8/2020 15:53 | It'd be interesting to hear your specific reasons as to why CNR may make a poor investment. Would you like to give us some more detail on your thinking. Obviously I take a different view and have followed and been invested here for 11 years, so I know this company well and often speak to Mark Child and email many times more. I presume you are aware of the state of play and pending newsflow within the next weeks and months? | sir andrew ffoulkes
03/8/2020 15:48 | JM's companies often have a share price that takes on a life of its own and I wouldn't be surprised if CNR's price plummets in the near future. If so do we buy sell or pray? I can see you are all commendably optimistic but there isn't such a thing as a dead cert, is there?! | rayong
03/8/2020 15:11 | Re the Share Talk Webinar on 11th August , to my mind , this is the first time that Condor has released a notice of a forthcoming Webinar presentation on its investor website , and it will not be the usual 15 minutes of presentation , we are promised 90 minutes of media coverage . None of PDAC , Mines and Money , the World Gold Forum , Beaver Creek Precious Metals Summit , and the Denver Gold Forum , where Condor ( CEO Mark Child ) has regularly presented , have given Condor so much air time . This forthcoming presentation occurs at about the same time as we are due Condor’s interim results , and it remains to be seen if Condor’s management have also reached a decision on whether toll milling with Calibre is a runner , or whether a brand new processing plant from China or a second hand plant from elsewhere is a done deal . With gold nearing US$2000 , and M&A picking up amongst gold companies , there is no doubt Condor will want to be on the front foot . It is also worth bearing in mind that if the the share price holds above 55p for 10 consecutive days , Condor will be entitled to receive an immediate £1.8m from accelerated warrant exercise from the most recent fundraising . Either way , it looks like this webinar is a must listen . | bomber13
03/8/2020 13:18 | RNS a few more warrants exercised bringing in £7500 following the £80000 on Friday. | 888icb
03/8/2020 12:37 | We are now up 4.1% at 50.5p on volume of 127000. I think the 50p Mark is an important psychological point. If we can stay above it we should see a further push north. 52p has just been paid for 10000 shares. | 888icb
03/8/2020 12:35 | I know how you feel 'rayon', it's like the proverbial donkey and carrot scenario! | connect5
03/8/2020 12:31 | Bit by bit up we go We need a 25% jump | book5
03/8/2020 11:31 | 16 small trades for a volume of 89000 but we are Up 1% at 49p so a positive start to August. | 888icb

03/8/2020 08:23 | Banks are really in a bad shape all around People loosing jobs Nicaragua on its knees Gold rocketing Looking good for us It is now or never | book5
01/8/2020 08:26 | @sirandrew I saw you raised the question who brought up 28£/share some time ago in LSE BB. Might have been several poster, but I also brought up this figure supported by some math in this BB the other day. Another fun way of reaching approximately 28 $ (not £) is when you just multiply the current valuation of Barrick (roughly 800$/oz) with the total resources of CNRs 5Moz, dependig on future dilution of course which we might need to become full producer. And the current valuation / oz of Barrick doesnt even reflect probable higher POG. | oldiegoldie
31/7/2020 19:49 | A poster on LSE Tester 123 made the value point well in a pos this afternoon of which the following is an extract: “Gold price consolidating nicely today, weak sellers taking a few % profits at the end of the week/month, buyers coming in on any dips.. Buying should start again in earnest on Monday.. looks like $2k will have to wait till next week.. Good to remember that this is still another historic week for gold - from closing at $1902 last Friday, its moved easily through its all time highs of $1920 to trade up to $1984 levels.. the trend is our friend.. If gold closes up $75 this week, the value of Condors resources of 2.4Moz have just gone up $180M in a week.. compared to a total market cap of $75M. Go figure.” It illustrates just how much value is created by movement in the gold price and the truly staggering profit that can be made. He is only highlighting the INCREASE in value in a WEEK being $180 million which is 2.5x our current market cap. It is hard to understand on that alone which is a fraction of the actual total value of our gold that the share price can’t manage to end the week at 50p.It should be a lot higher. However to end on a positive at the end of the month we have gone from 39p to nearly 50p and I am going to drink to that! Hopefully next week will see more progress. Have a good weekend | 888icb
31/7/2020 14:24 | Funnily enough, since then I have also got into buying Bullion too which is doing well. My neighbour retired at around 50 and he spends his time investing his own money. He gave me a book about gold and I read that and also listened to what Jim Mellon had to say about Bullion. On the latest pull back during march I bought Silver and Gold in Zurich and London. They have been a good investment. | 1airbag
31/7/2020 14:21 | Sounds like many here have been invested a long time. Not sure if I told you why I bought this share. Last year I read a copy of Investors Chronicle, dated 26 July - 1 Aug 2019. At the back they have the Directors Dealings section. There were 3 purchases for Condor by: James Mellon 15th Jul 2019 - 6,250,000 at 20p Mark Child 15th Jul 2019 - 50,000 at 20p Andrew Cheatle 15th Jul 2019 - 25,000 at 20p At the time I had never heard of Jim Mellon but I did quite a bit of research on him and Condor and as a result bought. | 1airbag
31/7/2020 13:51 | the volume on this share always seems very low to me. | 1airbag
31/7/2020 11:35 | 50,000 is a decent buy....so people can see value here....I topped up a little yesterday and very comfortable with my holding....been holding over 10 years also.... | goldrush
31/7/2020 09:56 | A decent 50000 buy at 50.25 might just point the way into the 50’s today if we can spark a little more volume as it’s still only 83000 after 2 hours of trading. | 888icb
31/7/2020 09:55 | Extremely frustrating for all concerned £0.50p seems a hard not to crack. oh well what can you do! | connect5
31/7/2020 09:15 | It’s a slow morning with just 5 trades for a volume of 22000 but gold is moving up and is currently 1980. | 888icb
30/7/2020 22:14 | My hopes are that the eloquent summary posted by 'Sir Andrew Ffoulkes' is realised sooner rather than later. Some of us have spent what feels like a lifetime in this share in the hope of the proverbial 'pot of gold' and all that! ATB & GLA as always! | connect5
30/7/2020 19:53 | Diggy aside from the obvious geopolitical risk and covid19, after my over 11 yrs in this share there is little bad that it can throw at us. It's near the end of the journey towards production now. Significant positive news very soon. | sir andrew ffoulkes
30/7/2020 18:29 | FYI 'DiggyBee' the gold is still in the ground, it's not shiny enough, no one seems to believe we have any and the share price is still in the doldrums, enough negatives to allow you to sleep tonight? ;-) | connect5
