05/8/2020 14:12 | They have a way of living There are other lands where they can go (close and far away). For instance there is a wealthy Mexican employing lots of miners at around 20 km away from village, they all use mercury! There are other lands closer to the village where local miners also work. Land is not a problem but the low rate of Extraction. Most probably the 100 miners will not stop working on cnr land for 20 years or so, they will take cnr better paid and healthier jobs in around 6 months. Technically cnr can't kick out the miners, working on a small % of the concession land, till cnr stars working directly on that land. | book5
05/8/2020 13:59 | Hope so. And hope they've not got a grudge!! | diggybee
05/8/2020 13:41 | And as I said in an investor and I own and I actually bought those shares at 53. I'm just very cautious of the we/our one eye ness of it all. It isn't ours. We don't own it. Condor May or may not own it. It's in Nicaragua. A change of Govt puts everything into perspective. There may or may not be gold in them there hills. Etcetc. I'm not wanting to be obstructive and certainly don't want to cause offence. I hope it is a multi bagger. | diggybee
05/8/2020 12:35 | A deal with Calibre on the toll mining agreement would be a great boost allowing us to sell some of our gold now for cash while waiting for full production. I hope Mark can get a deal. A further tick up by 1p as well to 53p | 888icb
05/8/2020 12:31 | Sir Andrew Ffoulkes - so if Rio came along and offered £1.50 a share they'd be rebuffed ??? That'd be mental. Plenty of CEO's have turned down offers to be proven wrong (see Philip Greens rejected £4 offer for M&S in 2004 - they are under £1 now) | dexdringle
05/8/2020 12:28 | Looking forward to it too. Plus I'm an investor myself. But very very scary when the whole cult is on one side of the boat! I like the mark Twain quote. That must relateTo USA though, there would be a better one for the more easily accessible and lawfully abiding Nicaragua I'm sure! | diggybee
05/8/2020 12:21 | For clarity, share price is s accelerating Upwards. World is full of Fools. Locals quiet, I have sent them some messages, lets see if the are able to report some proguess, but I am more interested on the 11th August presentation, specifically if we have, or have not, a deal with Calibre | book5
05/8/2020 12:20 | dex, read the 43-101 reports before bashing this share. As to a sale, you need a receptive shareholder base and proven resource (we've now achieved the latter) but no way will the CEO spend 30% of his career building it and then sell at the bottom. | sir andrew ffoulkes
05/8/2020 12:10 | All the drilling reports and studies have been done and there is full evidence that there is more than $1 billion of extractable gold at the current gold price and also at a considerably lower gold price. Production is not far away and if CNR could get a toll mining agreement they could start processing gold almost immediately. With nearly all the boxes fully ticked and permits in place an offer is a very strong possibility at any time even more so with the current gold price. | 888icb
05/8/2020 11:49 | Mark Twain said the definition of a gold mine is 'a hole in the ground with a liar standing at the top of it'..... We have lots of talk of 'gold in the ground' but very little evidence of it as yet. If there really was over $1bn of extractable gold do we not think a rival would have snapped up the whole kit & kaboodle at a bargain price by now? | dexdringle
05/8/2020 11:45 | Gold in the ground is not worth much (in the market's eyes). We may have a lot of gold, but this will not really move until we have a firm date for extraction and actually making some money instead of spending it. | quark3
05/8/2020 11:43 | An offer or preferably more than one offer would be more than welcome. Definitely worth considering for the reason you state but also it would provide the publicity to push the share price significantly higher even if the offer is not accepted at that time. | 888icb
05/8/2020 11:19 | Should probably sell it to a major if it's so valuable rather than try to dig for itself. A bird in the hand etc. So many gold companies come a cropper when they actually start digging. | diggybee
05/8/2020 10:45 | I fully agree with your patience comment and have been waiting patiently since Condor first got involved with this project. I am sure we are not far away from a further rerate on our way to production or the offers that could come at anytime. Sometimes when everything looks so positive and the gold price is flying to new highs it is frustrating trying to understand why Condor still lags behind its peers on the share price front. The figures for the value of our gold are mind boggling billion £ figures but our market cap is just £61 million. | 888icb
05/8/2020 10:26 | Someone said on another share on advfn that share prices often defy logic and it is the ones who can be patient and hold through those periods are often rewarded. You’re getting 0% in the bank so I know where I would rather have my money. | 1airbag
05/8/2020 09:10 | Just 10 trades so far and the highest price paid is 53.95p. It would be good if MC could use a little bit of his powder to capitalise on this rise in the gold price! | 888icb
05/8/2020 08:53 | I think we are now in a considerably better position than competition as MC has kept the powder dry. | oldiegoldie
05/8/2020 08:36 | Gold higher at 2031. Condor has managed a2% rise to 52p on volume of 72000. Let’s hope we continue to rise today as that increase in gold has increased CNR value by a considerable amount. | 888icb
04/8/2020 22:32 | I take the chance and keep adding | book5
04/8/2020 22:16 | Gold now 2019 perhaps given a leg up by the massive explosion in Beirut. | 888icb
04/8/2020 20:15 | Gold now 2004 so let’s hope it’s there or higher in the morning. That puts Condors profit per oz at over $1300. When you think back to when the initial mine plans were produced they were based on gold at $1250 and everyone was happy with the numbers and the profit. We have now added an additional $750 per oz profit to the original model, which means using easy numbers each 1 million ozs is worth $750 million more than the original model. So $1.3 Billion profit on 1 million ozs. Clearly we have a lot more than 1 million ozs. The market cap of CNR today is just £60 million as we wait for the market to realise the opportunity for this to double soon and still be massively undervalued! I am very excited that we are close to lift off but frustrated that we are still needing a further trigger to get the serious buying going again. | 888icb
04/8/2020 19:12 | So we are all hoping 'Cashistrash' so we are hoping! | connect5 |
