17.5 - 18p so a bounce off the low of 16 - 17.5p

IMO the market and investors mostly assume the worst so saying nothing doesn't work or aid the SP(clearly). If there is nothing to say then that's fine, but MC/CNR could and imo should, say 'officially' that there was £1.1m of funds at Y/E, that 8 or however many companies have completed site visits and 2, 4 6 or whatever number, are still doing DD, that if a satisfactory offer or JV isn't obtained then alternative plans are being considered etc etc.

Silence isn't golden in this instance.

Perhaps but the market is interpreting silence as bad news so clarification can't hurt.Thing is,we all know that the City is a small place and a frown or sulky expression on management's face will be enough to trigger a price fall when a company makes no money and has effectively hoisted a "for sale" sign.I suspect that those blue trades at 7.16 are buys,being crosses of the 50/- sale earlier but it hardly matters!

He can't win, because if he says comes out with something lame he'll be lambasted, so better to keep mum until you have something relevant to say.

Yes, I agree.

We have dropped from 90 to 40 and now towards 15p and there has been nothing. Extremely concerning as there is still probably 3 to 6 moths until strategic review completion
