Aside from the lucky few who bought at 15p (and should by now be out and away if they have any sense) this whole project has been an unmitigated disaster for anyone not on the Condor payroll. Essentially it has been, and continues to be, a lifestyle business for the staff.

Similar price required for me to get my money back, however with no compensation for the lost interest or dividends over the last 13 years. A poor outcome but I would gladly take that.

IDoes TSX pricing carries the LSE pricing ?? Low volumes and more sells and price is up..Is it market manipulation ?

I would be very happy to hang a framed Calibre share certificate but it would have to be an inside toilet for obvious reasons.

Don't worry, when the partial landholding is sold Jimbo will reinvest the money for you and you'll get an updated share certificate to frame and hang in the outside toilet.

Great. Only another 15p to go to get to my break even (ignoring of course the thousands of pounds of interest / dividends I could have been earning for the last 12 years had I just left the money in the bank or invested it in something worthwhile).

888ICB - i concur with your 12438 post. Those of us who do actually have some skin in the game are gradually feeling more optimistic:)

This bb is a parody on life - how to live a good one or how to be a miserable sod for all eternity!

Actually feel sorry for folk who just post the same negative drivel ad nauseum and even more sorry forthose who they live with.

It is all about how you see life really:)

It seems highly likely CNR will be revisiting the 30’s imminently as 16500 shares have just been bought at 30p.

Red prince my affable young ingenue, I had a few million shares at one stage, because I was suckered in by Jim's showmanship and her majesty's former servant MC. Thankfully I sold most of them for a small cut. In the mid 30s so that is still 20% or so higher than here. I still retain a few and I hope they end up higher. But I am thankful that I sold as this has been a drudge. Especially when compared with many other things that are at all time highs.

In West Nicaragua born and raised
In La India was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out, maxin, ' relaxin' all boom
And eatin' all the biccies in the data room
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started buying leases in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight sent my mom round the bend
She said, "You're movin' with Jim and MC in Bel-End"

(redprince of bel end 2024)

Condor about half the price it was 5 years ago, gold about double what it was 5 years ago at all time highs and priced in a harder currency too. There does seem to be a disconnect.

Has to be done this month surely? The bitter and twisted - your last chance to live life and actually buy some shares make money and move on and enjoy life.
Alternatively you can (and most likely will) sit on the sidelines moaning and whingeing and be even more bitter (is that even possible) when the rest of us make some cash and move on.
I actually feel sorry for those who i have filtered as they are clearly living a miserable existence.Feel even more for those who live with you though!

Its coming guys - at long long last:)

OG, a 66% increase in AISC in how many years ?

And what has been the relative increase in POG in the same timeframe ?

Let’s say it’s 1000 which means with Gold at 2300 CNR will be making profit of US$1300 per oz. If you recall when this sale process started it was said the US$ 100 million cost of building the mine would be recovered in the first 12 months of production. I would imagine that was now 6 months or less. Similar maths could be applied to the cost of Calibre buying the mine and they could be making money in months by trucking to their hub.

Math doesn’t lie…

@ dex you are referring to an article about average values. CNR initially started with an assumed AISC of 600 $/oz, but in the last FS (which was issued pre-inflation shock) they were already above 1000 $/oz
