Not even in a US election year?

No, I know everybody is hoping for it, but I do not see interest rates falling in the US this year.

In Europe maybe, but that’s irrelevant for the global economy / POG

OldieGoldie - "Now the trend on interest rates has completely reverted, and productive assets will perform relatively better than unproductive assets like gold."You do not see interest rates falling later this year?

OG, you've neglected to mention the PEA numbers from 2021 on your last post which has significantly higher NPVs, minimal being $418m at $1700 gold.

I will not let you die stupid and make the math for you:

La India PEA open pit + underground operations (Best case) has 1.470.000 oz (LOM 12 years).

Base case open pit + feeder 862.000 oz (LOM 9 years)

100.000.000 US$ divided by 1.470.000 oz is (you can ask you grandsons math teacher to confirm) 68 $/oz.

In this best case (best case according to Mark himself) the NPV is 187MUS$ and the CAPEX 169M.
Now tell me how stupid somebody needs to be to spent 100M for the asset alone, where he needs to further invest and need a few years before Cashflow begins.
100M is an absolute illusion, think 20-50M for La India.
And then you get to 10-25 p per share (not taking into account consultancy fees and other costs)

Have you ever visited the CNR internet page in the last 18 years? Or the Feasibility studies?
You can find a lot of valuable information there which could assist you in making up your mind.
This is beyond ridiculous, I am really wondering why you are a convinced investor in a company you barely know anything about, even though you could find out in 1 minute

How do you know how much Condor charges per oz? As always, just stupid chatter from you.

Well, the same is true for an overly optimistic price target.

It’s like in real estate. When everybody pays 12k£/sqm for a property in central London, and there is one guy asking 25k£/sqm and complaining nobody wants to buy, even though he owns all the land, I wonder who is right

Or do you know any acquisition where the $ / oz that CNR is asking has actually been paid?
You don’t even have to cherrypick, just name one (spoiler alert: you will not find)

oldiegoldie
19/3/2024
19:03
You could. You could easily cherry pick different recent acquisitions to suit your own agenda.
sherwood58
19/3/2024
18:38
Well, you can make reasonable assumptions derived from the amount of resources in the ground, NPV, and the $ / oz paid for comparable assets

No one on this BB knows how much the assets will be sold for, so it's all just hearsay.
sherwood58
19/3/2024
17:40
Well it could not be sold for 100M for almost 2 years now.
Beginning/Middle of 2023 there was an extensive value discussion on this BB, I don’t want to repeat it all now. It’s all documented so just scroll back in the thread

OG, expected based on what information?
sherwood58

It is reflected in the share price

The special dividend to be expected from an asset sale of La India is between roughly 10 and 25 p/share (corresponding to an asset sale price between 20 and 50MGBP, plus transfer costs) and the remaining assets after the sale of La India are mostly worthless.

If such a deal was assured and imminent, would this not already be reflected in the share price?

Mark is not the brightest, but smart enough to just lie in Master Investors conferences, but not in an RNS.

Cnr needs an rns stating it owns all the land of La India vein.

The miners want land with gold to keep working, not only money.

How much land will it cost to buy the cooperative land at La India?, La Mestiza, or other alternative land?

CNR will likely increase its offer until it satisfies the miners because the alternative, a CPO, will probably never arrive if it has not arrived by now.

Jim is only interested in himself and his concubines.

Mark, trying to be more like him, misheard and acquired a load of porcupines and some land on which to keep them. Well, 99.6% of the land anyway 🤣

And still they post their endless spiel.

No one apart from themselves is reading it.
When the deal is done (very shortly) you boys are going to still post your drivel while the rest of us count our winnings.

Never mind - even having money would not change your juandiced view of the world.

A Happy St Patrick's day to the (few) positive people on here.

The irony is that I'm hoping the red prince of bell end and his mate 888 are right. I need at least 45p a share here to not completely lose my shirt 😕
