20/7/2022 19:12 | Does anybody know well enough the TSX’s regulations to answer this? Is it required to own all the land, ie have an environmental permit, ie have a permit to mine , to issue a bfs? If we need to have a permit to mine in our pocket before we issue a full BFS, then first we have to own all the land, and therefore a rns about the land must proceed the BFS announcement MC probably is tempted give up and sell, can’t keep up asking for funds at these levels. Problem is calibre share price is very low and the only asset can be mine is La Mestiza. My guess is majority would accept 35 p per share, close to 50% premium. if we would own all land at la india the selling price would be higher, may be 70p? So far very disappointing | book5
20/7/2022 18:09 | Ramping steep from 22 to 23p The BFS could well land every day, but would it? | oldiegoldie
20/7/2022 17:38 | Condor Up 4.5% today and not a word from the boys and girls in the deramping gang. Perhaps they have read yesterdays Condor tweet: “Condor Gold @CondorGoldplc · 23h All technical studies undertaken at the Project level are complete and you can expect the Feasibility Study for the La India open pit and associated mine site infrastructure this quarter. Dig into our most recent exploration update: [...] Clearly the BFS could land any day now and what will they find to be negative about then. | 888icb
20/7/2022 00:57 | once again 888 has forgotten to remember that 28p was not the price of a share but of a unit including, once again, warrants and therefore is not to be compared with a simple share price of 25p, unless there is no prospect of the price rising to 41p within 36 months. (0.5 warrant per unit, exercise price 35p) | zangdook
19/7/2022 19:09 | You should of course remember that shortly before those out of the money warrants weren’t taken up at 25p Mark had raised £3.25 million at 28p. | 888icb
19/7/2022 16:58 | Mining stocks, in general, have had a torrid time of late. All companies have ‘issues’ but, when successful (i.e. increasing SP), are typically not the focus of attention. When the share price falls, such ‘issues’ seem the only thing on the radar. It is what it is. Nonetheless, it would have sent the right signal if the warrants were taken up in full. Sometimes such a result is achieved, not by cold hard tangibles, but intangibles like charisma, for example. I have seen it many times when such an attribute of a CEO has won the day. In CNR’s case we are solely dependent on cold hard facts – the BFS is going to be the difference that makes the difference? – let’s hope so! | sharenotes

19/7/2022 13:46 | If we get a mug at least it won't be a dead loss. Perhaps they can write "Any spare change for the CNR investor" on them and we can fight each other for the best spots. | zangdook
19/7/2022 13:41 | Me too, but I won't blame 888 for my own stupidity. | quark3
19/7/2022 13:40 | It seems the moron fever infecting the CNR board, really was transmitted to the public discussion boards a long time ago, but then given any opportunity, morons will always stick together. CNR shareholders must be in line for share mugs of the century. | q2g
19/7/2022 12:14 | Me too. I wish I was as clever as 888 and his (imaginary) chums over at LSE. I've said before that I don't buy non-producing miners and this is the one exception I allowed myself. I feel like an alcoholic who "doesn't drink any more" except for one brand of vodka. | zangdook
19/7/2022 12:13 | Very succinctly put. Unfortunately I too will join you in the muppet investor category. | connect5
19/7/2022 10:51 | If I was taking a big fat salary I'd commit a few quid to buying "under water" warrant shares to give the impression that I had confidence in the business and to keep the gravy train rolling. The alternative is to admit the shares aren't worth buying at 25p..... | dexdringle
19/7/2022 10:48 | We don't have enough idiots on here. 888 please go trawling the internet for more whiny nonsense written by morons who think failure to meet the Environmental Permit conditions is just a "quibble". "We need the BFS - I do hope it doesn't take too much longer" Don't worry dear, it was two weeks from completion back in March, so it must have been out for a few months already. | zangdook
19/7/2022 09:39 | Does anyone have a clue as to how the co-op/artesial miners present output compares with CNR's expectations when it starts ? Probably the local miners hate the present CNR board and, forgetting whether the present directors are competent or not, a new broom sweeps cleans and all that. A deal with a new bunch of directors, or at least CNR leader, might be a lot more favourable, but anything is better than this lot, who seem to take money for doing nothing. The share price might never reach hoped for levels, because something significant would have to be given away, but the present intransigence is doing shareholders no good whatsoever, with no real hope of improvement in the share price. I doubt if a more positive attitude to gold etc, would do a lot of good for CNR if nothing changes locally. A doubling of the share price might be the better bet, and cutting losses rather than waiting for Godot. | q2g
19/7/2022 09:16 | Where is mark these days you think? In his club in London sheltering from the heat wave. Some summer toboggan admin in st moritz. Or sipping sangria in Ibiza with jimmy? Or beavering away in the data shed with his mates from rio tinto discussing the copper prospects of Nicaragua. | diggybee
19/7/2022 08:49 | Would you put what you hear as fact or as a rumour I heard the above for several contacts So as far as I am concerned it is true, yet input as a rumour as I don’t want to be accused of providing info I should not be providing Seriousness of the issue has affected the share price It most probably gets resolved but after large dilution and lost of land in the land swap Valuation will not be as rosy as the bulls predict Regards | book5
19/7/2022 08:47 | You can assume everybody here also reads and potentially even contributes on LSE. Meaningless of repeating ramping BS | oldiegoldie
19/7/2022 08:43 | An lse deramper posted book’s post of 18.25 yesterday on the lse CNR bb. A poster responded to it and it makes more useful reading than anything posted on here this morning apart from Buzzzz getting full marks for reminding everyone of the filter button. “Sounds plausible as written, although I have my doubts. If there was a significant dispute it would be hard not to see it as price-affecting, especially if there was a perceived impact on raising the project finance. In which case it would be subject to an RNS. The fact that we have not had an RNS on any disputes suggests either that it is a very minor issue, or it is just as book5 states, a rumour. MC did not have to exercise underwater warrants. The fact that he did indicates that the project is still pretty much on track, assuming you take a longer view. No one with an ounce of common sense buys shares to lose money straight away. He's either trying to promote confidence in CNR's prospects, or is signalling something that he can't yet put into an RNS. I don't trust the rumour mill, but then again I'm still unclear why the BFS has been delayed. As for the downbeaten share price: 1) The warrant hangover is now history so we can tick that, but, 2) Gold is still $200 below where it was and still looking weak. 3)Markets generally are still volatile. I'm waiting to see if the Gazprom thing turns into anything. 4) It's summer, the usual low trading doldrums. 5) Still nothing tangible on the RNS front. We still are none the wiser as to how close we are to financing the project, where of course the BFS will likely play a part. Overall not much has changed. I think the market doesn't just want negative news out of the way but is waiting for some really positive and tangible progress.” | 888icb
19/7/2022 08:04 | I'm almost looking forward to the day little Marky Child has to put out an RNS saying, I lied, we don't have all the land, and I lied, it is a problem, the company has collapsed and I shall be disemboweling myself in Trafalgar Square on Thursday at noon. | zangdook
19/7/2022 08:01 | Buzzzz how do you manage to filter and still read at the same time? | oldiegoldie |
