Nothing atypical about the data room set-up, but that was not the point at all. Many off the record conversations will take place in said data room and that is what makes it unique. Was MC influenced? Why is the FS delayed? Why the cash raise, in part, to enhance the FS? One can only speculate. If I had speculated it was a result of new input from a character called Duncan Biscuits, then I guess (from other comments) it would have been well received by some. If this is so then so be it. Have a good day.

That is a very good question. His circumstances are somewhat different to Mark but, undoubtedly, he would have sought legal advice before acting upon any opportunity.

Condor Gold plc unaudited results for the three months ended 31 March 2022

Among the highlights for the First Quarter of 2022:

Project finance discussions are underway with potential providers of project finance who have access to Condor’s data room under confidentiality agreements.

Simply one reference - I think MC has also mentioned the 'data room' in various interviews.

where did this info on "data room" come from - which RNS or presentation?

Whilst we await the FS, here are some of my thoughts on CNR:

The FS has been delayed because a party in the ‘data room’ requested further information/clarification. This request was taken seriously enough to initiate the cash raise. MC is the main player (executive) and is in an advantageous position which possibly restricts him to picking up only a token gesture of new shares. After all, MC would like a bid approach (he has north of 4M shares already) and is possibly operating on an ‘if then’ proposition.

Pure speculation (note the odd possibly!), but that assessment, in part, is why I am invested here. I fully appreciate that there are other interpretations! Notwithstanding, we will know soon enough.

Are you suggesting that in March when Mark Child said the BFS would be out within two weeks, he was planning to publish a shoddy rushed job, but then after dithering for a few months he changed his mind and decided to raise 3 million quid and do the job properly, but was so embarrassed by his own indecisiveness that he couldn't bring himself to acknowledge what had happened so he put out an RNS saying the cash was for "a" feasibility study, as if the concept had never come up before?

An interesting article from McKinsey &Co on the importance of getting the feasibility study to a very high standard to maximise the value of a project:
“ hxxps://www.mckinsey.com/industries/metals-and-mining/our-insights/optimizing-mining-feasibility-studies-the-100-billion-opportunity”
This may well explain the delay in CNR’s BFS. Indeed one of the areas highlighted as needing to be of a higher standard than historically achieved is Metallurgy and that is an item where Condor are currently doing additional test work. If a little more time can increase the value of the project by a significant percentage then it will be worth the wait.

The only way of making good money here is if we start mining, hold the shares and are paid dividends for years and years. Why ? Bcs today the market does not give high valuations to mining ventures in Nicaragua , look at calibre sp, it is on its knees even though it owns a decent asset in the usa
currently we are a frontier jurisdiction leaning towards the bad end of the spectrum
In the worst case we may go the same way that owning a tier 1 miner in Russia: PE=1, zero dividends.
For a better future where we mine and are paid dividends

Flaw is
The analyst divided the expected business valuation by the number of existing shares at that time , rather than, by the number of shares present when we will be extracting ore.
Raising btw $15 to $20 million could mean 50% more shares, which will drop valuation from £1 to 66p
And that is if we keep majority of la mestiza
