You still haven't come up with an explanation why the BFS was on the verge of completion in March and requires £3m in June. A simple acknowledgement that timescales have slipped is not "contrary to the best interests of the company and the shareholders", yet it seems to be beyond the intelligence of Child to see that not only is it required but it's extremely discourteous to shareholders to pretend there has been no slippage.

As for the land purchases, if he had consistently acknowledged that we don't yet have all the land, there would be little to complain about. Instead he has repeatedly claimed that we do have all the land, only to turn around and admit, without any acknowledgement of the apparent contradiction, that we don't have it all.

The only thing to be read "between the lines" is that the man has psychological issues which make him quite unfit for his position.

Do you think a potential buyer of the company, or a collaborator on toll mining, or a financier, won't see these things?

Meanwhile, Mark may increasingly be in a position where he might say...I am sinking. 888 likely reply would be ...what are you sinking about?

It is important to understand that a man running a public company has a number of audiences. There are going to be many instances where providing a running commentary about the minutiae of everything that’s going on to the shareholders is contrary to the best interests of the company and the shareholders. An obvious instance is the obsession on this bb with the land purchases. It is a commercial disaster to provide details of negotiations and prices to shareholders thereby making that information available to the sellers of the land. Many other things are similarly commercially sensitive and hence chapter and verse is not always given to shareholders but you should be able to read between the lines.
We are where we are and we need to look forward. We are now properly funded to complete the BFS and financing and or sell all or a large stake to a major. If we are discussing a sale we can’t be pressured for a cheaper price because we need funds.
Mark now has to focus on getting the share price much higher and if the only way to do that is a sale then so be it.

None of that answers my question. If on March 19 the BFS was expected to be ready within two weeks, why does over £3m need to be raised to complete it in June?

What went wrong?

Why is there no acknowledgement, let alone explanation, of the fact that we were told it would be ready in Q1, then that it would be ready by early April, but never that substantial new funds would be required for it to be completed?

The point I was illustrating with the tobogganing analogy is that Mark Child has a habit of insisting that everything is fine and then suddenly one day saying that everything is not fine, but never acknowledging that his position has changed. This is an extremely bad character defect in a man running a public company.

Zangdook thought it was amusing to say Mark would plough his toboggan into a bunch of kids. His time would be better spent answering his own questions from research. This is what Mark said on 13th May 2022:
“ During the first quarter, we continued to make significant progress on advancing the Feasibility Study for the La India open pit and associated mine site infrastructure . All technical studies undertaken at the Project level are complete. We are currently reviewing the metallurgical test work, geotechnical analysis and capital cost estimates. Additionally, we received the results from the 8,004 m infill drill program at the fully permitted high-grade Mestiza open pit. Although not included in the scope of our forthcoming Feasibility Study, we expect Mestiza to provide an additional high-grade ore source for the La India mill.

Concurrently, we are finalizing our analysis of an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for La India Project, which is inclusive of a Mineral Reserve Estimate for the La India open pit. The geological model is consistent with our current best understanding. Lithologies, weathering and structures have been re-modelled from scratch with existing drilling, trenching and outcrops considered.

In summary, the La India open pit including the associated mine site infrastructure is essentially construction ready and materially de-risked. The plan is to add the two fully permitted high grade feeder pits of Mestiza and America to the mine plan during the construction phase. The Feasibility Study on La India open pit is almost complete, the formal announcement will probably take us into Q3. It will put the Company in a position to pursue various project financing alternatives, some of which have already been initiated."
As you should be aware from what has been spent in the past the cost of all these external specialists is very expensive. I am not happy about it but what is the alternative? All this work has to be done to get the BFS over the line and it would take even longer if you tried to change the team at this point. Let’s have some constructive comments and suggestions about how to move forward from today.

It seems we don’t want to be generous on land and insist on our rights and others having none have to leave their working positions
Problem is , so far they are not leaving, what are the time scales to remove them? will the government help with this?

is this delaying the FS?
Since jobs are coming soon Perhaps You may Ask to MC if he could relinquish part of his salary and share awards to feed all those families untill cnr is able to employ some of them? I bet that would help to have a deal done very quickly.

888 thinks it's a public service to run down nay-sayers, Ortega throws opposition candidates in jail....hm

The difference is Ortega's tactics got him re-elected, but whatever 888 says won't save CNR from Mark Child's disconnection with reality.

888, can you explain to us why the BFS which on 19 March was two weeks from publication (see youtube) now, in June, suddenly needs another £3m?

All is about land
Lands have squatters and other residential “swarm of bees”
I wonder if all is orchestrated
Evacuation notices given, would they adhere to them? What if not?
Doggy country is scaring investors
Cnr needs support to solve the land, problem is many hundreds of families currently eat thanks to la India vein and don’t have where to go, so they are refusing to go.
It is cnr fault for drilling where hundreds of miners where mining
Swap land negotiations: when, what is on offer, plan B?
It seems to me all is a promise, plenty of risks
Reward is perceived as too much of a gamble
Percepción will change when we buy all land, regardless how much it costs in turns of land swap, why? Bcs only then the market will have confidence on the cash flow

I was just thinking if Mark is going to plough his toboggan into a bunch of kids, he would be doing a public service if he ploughed into the kids that spend too much time on this bb spamming drivel. Break time is over now so back to your classrooms to try and learn something useful.

I suppose "The BFS is almost done, we're just spraying eau de cologne on the envelopes...oops we need another £3m for the BFS" is very similar to "We've got all the land, we've met all the conditions for the environmental permit, everything is derisked...oops we haven't got the last bit of land right above the gold, the whole thing has fallen apart"

I wonder if MC takes similar risks on the toboggan course at Montreux. "My toboggan has been serviced, the weather conditions are just right, there's no-one else on the course...oops the course was obstructed, my brakes failed and I just ploughed into a bunch of kids."

May be he thought this is too much of a gamble, better move to a more secure job.

It is probable that a large number of miners will not leave unless they are pushed very hard by police, why? bcs they own nothing, have nothing to win if they leave and lots to lose (their wages).

Still we need land negotiations with coop’s associates

Either we have a massive technical issue with the water (last mine closed down bcs tunnels were flooded) , or it is all about land (miners opposition, lack of tangible government support), or may be both issues are real problems
