A pause for breath as 30p gets paid a few times on volume of 500000. We have come off the high but let’s see if we can have another go at 30p in the final hour. Gold also moving up again now.

Mark has made it clear he is not looking for a cash raise not least because he doesn’t want his own holding diluting further nor to the other major holders. They will go down the financing route and he said in that last interview he has had a number of finance proposals recently

Nice to back nearer 30 than 20 but I'm cautious. Edison are paid for. Been a few things recently - broker change, Master Investor (Cornford) write-up, now this and the share price is responding. Sometimes this sort of pattern precedes a cash raise.

Not a concern depending on price.

Here we go now up 16% on volume of 311000 at 28.75.

At midday we are UP 11% at 27.5p on volume of 241000 from 24 trades. 28p has been paid on one 35000 Trade. Let’s see if we can build on this during the afternoon and exceed last weeks highs before we were interrupted by the large stock market fall!

It seems as if we are starting to move up again. If the market starts to take on board the recent interviews and in particular the analyst view that we should be £1.70+ then we should see some decent rises in the coming days.

There is now a further video on the Proactive site which is again a very positive interview this time with Mark Child following on from the earlier analyst interview. They discuss the analysts price target of £1.70 + based on comparable companies. Permits expected by end of this month and he comments how important the arrival of Rio Tinto is to confidence in Nicaragua concerning gold mining. He also mentions interest from a number of financiers at the conference he is attending.
Worth watching and there is a real feeling of progress and positive momentum.

There is an interview with an analyst on Proactive Investors this morning who has done a research note on Condor. The interview is very positive and of particular note is his view on the share price. He said if one compares it with similar gold companies listed in London Condor is very undervalued and should be trading at £1.70 to £2.10 per share.
That is a 7 or 8 bagger from this mornings share price I think he is right so let’s hope the market sees it and we see a major rerate of Condor.

Clearly yesterday was another very bad day for the markets and one of the worst weeks since the financial crisis. The market report says you know how bad it is when gold and gold stocks are also hit which is contrary to what you would expect. Apparently with the 10% fall funds needed to cut all positions across the board including gold.
As markets stabilise one would expect Condor to resume its rise as the entry of Rio Tinto into Nicaragua continues to become more widely known.

Another good day. We got as high as 29.5p and the odd trade was virtually 30p but ticked down a touch at the close to end at 28.75p on volume of 508000 and UP 11.7%
Today’s closing price is a fifty two week high so let’s see if we can end the week with another new high starting with a 3! Long term shareholders will recall how this share can move and it’s perfectly possible for it to double from here in a matter of days. The conditions are right for Condor to rerate and we deserve it having been ignored for sometime.

He most certainly will as on his 4.1 million shareholding each 1p rise is worth £41000 so he is £120000 better off than he was this morning!

Up 14.6% at 29.50 on volume of 400000.

Now number 2 on the leader board UP 12.65% at 29p and volume of 360000. The ask is currently 30p and 29.9p has been paid. A finish at 30p or higher could be on the cards.

A late reported buy has just shown up from 13.25 which was 50000 at 29.25p which is a decent size trade worth over £14000.

It’s worth remembering that 41% of the shares are in the hands of 5 shareholders who have had to notify their interest starting with Jim Mellon with 15%. I think a lot of shares are in the hands of long term holders below the 3% notification threshold. The number of shares that are actually traded are quite restricted which is why this can move up (and down) quite sharply on relatively low volumes. Let’s see if this apparent change in sentiment can push us up to a more realistic valuation fairly quickly.
