Condor has closed flat at 23.5 on volume of 160000. According to another bb B2 gold is up 20% and Calibre up 10% today both involved in Nicaragua. Gold is up during the day and all the global indices are up today. So slightly disappointing that Condor hasn’t had a better day but still overall CNR has held up reasonably well in the current market conditions.

RNS this morning as someone has exercised warrants at 31p per share raising £155000 for Condor. That is a big vote of confidence presumably from an existing shareholder who has paid more for these shares than it would have cost on the open market to get funds to the company.

Currently number 17 on the riser board UP 12%. Yesterday afternoon from 2pm it was nearly all buys and the buying has continued this morning.

A rather surprising 10% fall this morning on volume of 220000. Gold also surprisingly is back around 1640 when in view of global markets down 5%+ you would expect gold to be higher. Only 31 companies on the whole market are currently in positive territory so it’s a bad day taking everything down even gold stocks which would normally be seen as a safe haven.

Disappointing that a few sells at the end took us from 34.5 back down to 33 so down 0.8% on the day. There was a 150000 trade from yesterday at 33.5 which looks like a buy but we seem stuck at this level instead of moving up again.

This would support a 1,000 tpd production feed to either a small plant constructed by Condor or.....

It would be nice if mini plant equipment is ordered to process mini pits at la India.

A nice 50000 buy this afternoon. Let’s see if like yesterday we can get back to 34p by the close.

General market doing well this morning and gold is holding up but since 10am a number of small sells have taken us down 4% on volume of 136000. Not really sure why people are selling this morning but will have to wait to see if the buying kicks in later.

We made it back to where we started the day and closed on 34p and volume of 449000. In view of the carnage in the markets we have had a good day.

A slow afternoon with just 10 trades since 1.25 pm but all buys and the last six at 34p have ticked us up again to 33.5p. Perhaps we can make it back to where we started in the final hour.

The volume is now 353000 as we tick up to 33p which is 2.9% down on the day. A number of buys are going though now with the most recent at 34.1 and 34.

Having said that a 10000 Buy at 34p has just gone through taking volume to 266000.

Someone on another bb has reported that when he tried a test buy/sell he was offered 32.5 for a sell but he couldn’t buy. Sells have outnumbered buys this morning so the mm’s should have stock to sell so it’s interesting that they are holding on to it.

Recovering from a fall on opening now down 3.7% on volume of 216000 at 32.75p. This should be seen as a safe haven in the awful market falls we are witnessing this morning.

A good week for Condor ending the day UP 4.6% at 34p a new 12 month high moving up well and consolidating each day as the upward trend continues. The volume was 831000 from 98 trades. The increasing volumes suggest we are on more radars and gold stocks are very much in demand as the general markets suffer from the Coronavirus. Gold should be looking good for some time. But even without that the recent analysts report saying we should be trading between £1.70 and £2.20 gives us plenty of upside in the coming weeks.
Rio Tinto has given Nicaragua and it’s gold a massive confidence boost which will start to sink into to the market. Our stall is set out and a bid could appear at any time and that is the risk for people who are waiting to take or build their position. A bid needs to be based on the value of our gold not our current very low market cap. That is perfectly normal in this type of situation although a low share price will encourage a low initial offer. Our major shareholders will not agree to a low offer so I would expect a bid at a much higher price for our shovel ready mine.
