UP 10% this morning. Lets hope it continues and that this will be the year Condor finally delivers its potential, which for me would be a sale above £3.

Great news in todays RNS but unfortunately this coincided with a fall in the gold price. The fall in the gold price is not really relevant as CNR's share price is at such a massive discount to the value of its gold,its not a relevant factor,although the market seems to treat it as relevant. In my mind it will only be relevant when we are north of £2.

Pretty obvious they're going to do another fundraising very soon - only £1m left, high cashburn and not wanting to take it to the wire.
Hence the promotions to try and tick the price up beforehand.
The question is at what discount and price.

A hefty 90k sale went through at 15.40 this pm.

In the latest Master Investor Jim Mellon comments on the markets in an article entitled "Bondfire of the Vanities ". When he comments on gold he says he is surprised by the recent fall in gold and thinks the recent problems in India with the note exchange has contributed to this. He thinks this dip in gold and silver is a temporary blip providing a great opportunity to load up on the precious metals. He recommends Fresnillo for silver and says a good play on gold is CONDOR (he does disclose that he is a Director and Shareholder!)

RNS some very targeted drilling has commenced to detail further gold resource. Very positive news as we await paperwork from the reelected government.

It seems clear from all the polls and news reports that it is a forgone conclusion that the Government of Ortega will be reelected with a large majority. This should be good for Condor as they have got on well with the current government. Let's hope all the paperwork is sorted quickly and we are sold for £2.50+
