Now that Condor is listed on the main board of the TSX and in the final stages of permitting , the Condor shareprice has briefly touched 60p . This is a highly significant level , and one the shareprice needs to sustain and rise above .

Here's why -

1) 60p is C$1 , and to have any relevance on the TSX , it is psychologically important to have a shareprice above C$1 .

2) 60p is the level at which it breaks free of a 5 year downtrend from the high of 170p set in January 2013 .

3) 60p is the price at which 4.3m warrants from the April 2016 fundraising can be exercised by April 2018 to raise a valuable £2.6m .

4) 60p equates to a market cap of US$50m , which values Condor's 2.3m oz resource at US$22 per oz , roughly 1/3rd the average TSX value .

4) 62p is the price at which the last fundraising was done in February , 2017 , which raised £5.2m gross , and made Ross Beaty a 9% shareholder .

5) 93p is the price at which 4.2m warrants from the February 2017 fundraising can be exercised by Febuary 2019 to raise a valuable £3.9m .

In Monday's listing announcement , Mark Child , the CEO , confirmed that discussions with the Nicaraguan government and the local community were constructive and supportive , and in the listing particulars he confirmed that Condor had enough cash to operate until the end of 2018 . On granting of the environmental permit , it is also known that Condor would need additional funding of up to US$18m in order to finish in-fill drilling , resource expansion drilling , a full feasibility study , and a social / environmental impact study .

As it is highly likely that the shareprice will rise very significantly from here on receipt of the permit , it is also highly likely that both outstanding warrant issues can be exercised positively , thereby gifting Condor about half the required funding , and huge financial flexibility .

With gold above $1300 , and the TSX listing done , Condor now needs to spread the gospel in North America , and nail this permit . Hence , and for starters , the company is presenting at the Vancouver Resources Conference on 21st / 22nd January .

I for one am hopeful that it will translate into a lift in the share price on AIM as on the TSX yesterday it opened at 1.10 with the highest paid at 1.75. That is some interest in my book.

Simple facts of life - CNR have the resource - have the grades - BUT not yet got the permits - Once permits granted (if thEy are) then strong move up followed by a fall back for for financing and development of the mine - The share price then will depend on POG. If no permitting then Carey Street (all imo dyor usual cautions etc - NFW&O)

Oh dear,sorry to hear you're disappointed.In fairness to ADVFN,it normally takes a day of trading to get a new quote up and running.Perhaps a few eager TSX beavers decided to hold fire on Martin Luther King day.

Needs some decent pr with any launch. Did they have any? There must be a Canadian broker supporting this? After going to the trouble of arranging a dual listing you'd think they'd have ensured all this was covered.

CDNX rose 2% yesterday so a good day for Canadian e&p co's

I had a look on the TSX and I can't see any sales but the quote is for a Canadian dollar so I would like to know what's happening.

Spoke to my Broker and apparently the MM's are trying to buy at 70c but are not offering any stock at all.

No one is going to sell it to them at that price.

Looks like a complete damp squib.

No interest and no MM's looking to create any!!!

The rise must be down to something else.....permit I hope.
